First its too much, now it appears to be not enough?
Me and a friend played through a number of missions on hard, and in 4 playthroughs.. i picked up 4 High end items (all from boss) and a couple of superior drops and some standard drops.
Drop rate was VERY poor.. In one instance i literally got 2 Standards and the High end from the boss, that was it.. 3 drops the entire level.. and the high end on that run was a performance mod that wasnt even that great.
Anyone else noticed an extreme decrease in drop rates since the patch? I know they wanted to nerf it a little bit but they seem to have went OTT
Also Pheonix Credits.. drop rates are also terrible and the rewards for daily/weekly is poor.. One blueprint costs in excess of 300+ that would literally takes weeks to accrue, the only people benefiting from it at present are people with no jobs who do nothing but farm missions all day, i unfortunately have to work and this is impacting my overall enjoyment of the game as im at a point where PvE is pointless to me and i cant get the gear required to survive in the DZ..
At the very least, make Challenge difficulty a setting on ALL missions, and not just the Daily.
Challenging it available for 4 missions : Lincoln Tunnel, Lexington Centre, Warrengate Powerplant and Russian Consulate.
Depending on your platform, I game on Xbox, I would recommend hitting the DZ as a source of matts, PCs and just about everything. It's faster and, for my playstyle, I vastly prefer it. Of course. YMMV.
Also, scavenging is intended to increase drops from normal mobs. Get it higher = more drops from normal mobs.
Best of luck.
I have a fairly decent Scavenging %, still doesnt seem to do much for me personally.
And ive been in the DZ, but im not getting the Pheonix credits or drops to up my gear level enough to compete in the DZ, ive been in, picked up some nice loot but never made it out.. And thats with friends, everytime i attempt to i bump into very high level players who have n problem goign rogue, and honestly, the consistent struggle to get loot only to then lose it all, lose DZ XP and DZ credits isnt worth the time it takes. As i said, i have to work most days and i very rarely get the time to put into farming the DZ.
there needs to be an option in the PvE area to assist players like myself so we can go to the DZ and at least compete to a degree.
Thanks for the response
You are welcome, sorry I couldn't be of more help.Originally Posted by KharN6 Go to original post
As for the DZ I always LFG into DZ 5-6 and very rarely do I encounter any rogues, personally. In a good group (averaging around 190GS) you are looking at 30 HEs every 40 minutes or so, mostly 99/100 get deconstructed for Matts, around 60 PCs per hour, and somewhere in the region of 20-30K DZ credits per hour. That's if you are in a good group, of course, and in the absence of distractions (ie dying more than once per hour tops, or competing for drops). 1.2 is suppossed to hit soon too, so the higher you have your DZ rank and credits, the better you'll be ready for when it hits. Unless there's a 204 MP5 out this week, I'm saving any and all DZ credits I do farm til 1.2 myself.
As for more content for non DZ players, I do wish there was more too, I think no-one will argue against that. It IS costly to make though, so I'm not sure what to expect in terms of that. Nothing I'd say til the payed-for-DLC I'd suspect, and then we'll see how much anyhow.
Good luck!
Cheers for the advice, im sitting around 150GS as is my friends, I rarely get on in groups of 4 though short of matchmaking, but people want to be heros when i try that, no coherence or teamwork which bothers me.
As far as content for PvE area.. honestly, just make the missions all available for challenge difficulty setting.. If im gonna far missions i do prefer to do it as challenge. The daily rewards can remain the same because it still applies an incentive, but i think it should be available from the jump for all missions.
you can run any of four challenge modes as many times as you like over and over again, not just the daily, any mission that has a gold/yellow spike coming out of it when you look at your map has a challenge option and yes drop rates and loot quality are dire to say the least.Originally Posted by KharN6 Go to original post
All the changes they made in patch 1.1 were designed to extend the life of the game by slowing progression.
1. They nuked the crafting system.
2. Made everything dramatically more expensive to buy.
3. Turned GS 163 items into the "new purples"
....and thought no one would notice.
Well----as your post makes clear----people DID notice, and are resenting the obnoxious grind that this game has become now.
