    "Foreign" Languages in FL CM

Since I started running Falcon Lost I realised that quite a lot of people speak "foreign" languages in the mission and it's starting to piss me off real bad! Not that I mind players that have a native language different from english, but everyone should be able to speakit if they intend on running this type on content! FL on CM requires communication and coordination and there is no way a group can do that if all 4 players can't speak a common tongue! I'm not sure if it's just that people are dumb or want to get carried, but it's just not working. As a french Canadian, I understand very well the importance of speaking english and how vital it is in gaming. Now i'm frustrated cause some players seems to not care at all about communicating while in a group and too often it leads to wipes!

Like it or not, online gaming is anglophone and it's gonna be that way forever. If you can't communicate properly with others, form a group in your own language! That way everyone will be happy.

Now some of you will tell me that I should simply stop using the LFG tool and form a group with players I know will communicate, but sometimes it's juste not possible! Sometimes my partners are not on and I have to queue up for it!

So, yeah! That was my lil" rant of the day!

I present to you, a non ****ty matchmaking tool. I've used this since Day 1 of the division release. Met countless awesome people and roll with groups from here regularly. I even host games from time to time.

Lol... You Americans / Canadians.... There is actually more in the World than just your countries. In fact... Mandarin and Spanish are spoken by more people than English on this planet.

So next time you rant, keep that in mind. Why should the Spanish or Mandarin speaking users learn your language and not the other way around?

I can speak Dutch (native), English, French, German and a bit of Spanish. Want people to adjust to your standards?

English is still the language the most used for any kinds of communication world-wide! That's also how it works in gaming. There may be more people speaking spanish and what you refer as "Mandarin", but unfortunately, those are not the most commons languages used in gaming, or at least in The Division. Not that I mind players speaking their native tongue, but if you are to group up for FL, at least be prepared to face the fact that others will most likely speak English!

On a side note, Mandarin is not the word you should use. Very common mistake, but "Mandarin" is a language that has been lost for quite a long while! Even Chinese people know it's not right. What you refer to is simply "Chinese".

    Aren't the devs Swedish?

If so then isn't English the "foreign language"?

When pugging CM FL ; the silent groups are the best!

i don't care where you're from and what your language is; just be silent and effective.

Either way the only real communication going on is usually something like: "SHOTGUNS!" ; And that works in pretty much any language.

Nice to see that there are still people like you outside of the States thus proving once again that the sh*tty people in the world are not centered in my location of living. Keep on keeping on with your stereotypes and generic typical hate speech against an entire country of people. You're no better than those you talk down to.

Why don't we communicate in Esperanto? :-)

Anyway, I think it's a good idea the matching tool has a kind of "language filter".

might be interesting to add a GS filter while at it ; much less kicking would be happening.
