Traded in my Division disc today and talked to one of the kids there about decent upcoming games. The conversation turned back to the Division eventually and I asked him if he was seeing a lot of returns.
He chuckled and pointed to 3 3' x 2' cardboard boxes. "All full and being shipped back today". I asked if that was all.. his reply was "No, that was this past week's returns". While I do live in a rather large city and this store is heavily trafficked, that amount of returns told me I was making the right choice.
Ubi.. you should have chosen the "strip" accounts method instead of going for a future Monty Haul game to try and even up the player vs hacker levels.
You can admit you had that meeting, likely multiple times.
The players would have then been behind you cheering.. screaming.. for you... at the top of their lungs.
I would have (not the screaming thing so much).
You would have had many more thousands or millions playing your game and willing to buy the next.
You chose... poorly..
Natural Selection... take over.. it is all yours.
Obviously this kid imagined his little anecdote was going to make Ubisoft stop in their tracks and remake the entire game if fear of losing more people.Originally Posted by Kyosji Go to original post
Console kids of course. Real men and gamers download their games to their PC.Originally Posted by sandpants Go to original post
