    The Great Escape

Massive (no pun intended) grind to get to 75 this weekend for the M1A Blueprint, had ten levels to go, managed to slug it out with a lot of game time Saturday and a bit on Sunday. For some reason yesterday on the Ps4 the DZ was the wild west. Truly bizarre behavior from everyone in the DZ, perhaps people are just bored (gasp) or maybe going insane as a result of the game.

In any case, grinding with just one other friend, a group of four got very upset that we made it to the construction zone box before them and did everything in their power to kill us. Being outnumbered we ran (another problem with this game, rogues or non-rogues alike can simply run for decades with no fatigue, occasionally using their magical power to go even faster.

I kid you not, these four guys followed us around the entire DZ for an entire lap and a half. They simply wouldn't give up the chase. We led through every mob possible... dropped turrets, pulled a number of crazy ivans. From DZ1 to DZ6 and back to DZ1 again. Finally we managed to get into the DZ1 East gate without being "in combat." We waited, and waited, finally I just left and fast travelled to the South gate, sacrificing my 163 Mechanics Gloves, a true heartbreak despite having already extracted roughly 200 pairs over the weekend...

Sure enough, they are still camping the gate. For all the defense of "PVP" and the rogue system I see in the forums, it is undeniable that this game is truly a griefers paradise. I actually admired their dedication.

Here's my open ended game adjustment question... why the heck can't you get into a safe zone when on the lamb (non-rogue). It's a SAFE ZONE. I feel like it's very purpose should be to escape those dedicated to ruining your experience. Ditch the "can't leave DZ in combat" for non-rogues. Let them sit outside their safe zones and gates like idiots, but you should be able to escape these clowns...

Call me a coward all you want. It's a video game, and this feature is stupid. Real cowards are those who feed their ego by controlling little men on screens.

I've asked the same question you should be able to escape into safe-houses when running from mobs and especially rogues! I had escaped a bunch of NPC's last week and even after 15 min I still couldn't enter a safe-house or DZ exit!

I agree with all of the above. I'm on the PC and ran into 3 players that chased me around the DZ, not shooting to kill but to put me in combat so I can't leave. So, foolishly, I let my emotions get the better of me and engaged them....bad move on my part. Turns out they were all DZ 90+ and GS 204 or better. So, I rez and go back in to the DZ to finish the daily and there they are again, doing the same BS as before. This time however I didn't play their game. Took my hands away from my controls and sat back and watched as eventually they went rogue from plinking me with pistol shots. I thought I was dead but, instead of killing me, the cowards ran for cover. Their tactic was to put a player in combat and burn them down as a rogue when they respond to their ******baggery.

I'll be so glad when 1.2 hits.

I can't even play the game right now I'm so fed up with the bullSh*t in the DZ. Only 2 people I know are still playing the rest left over the DZ crap that's ruining the game. I bought the game on the premise it was an rpg mmo or what ever you want to call it. Haven't played one in along time and I was looking forward to this one. Too bad they didn't deliver what they promised.

My favorite part is leaving the dopes standing outside an empty gate.

There should become a rogue the instant you shoot someone with a pistol.

No one has ever accidentally shot a non rogue with a pistol lol

There was plenty of this going on as well... completely absurd. Pistol popping to keep us from entering safe zones/gates, and also lots of following around and diving in front of us to try to get us to go rogue. Complete and total nonsense, and it was an entire weekend of this.

I managed to hit 75 and get my blueprint, despite losing close to 9000 XP from death-by-a**hat instances.

They should have a "safe zone" around each entrance. The amount of damage to go rogue should be like next to nothing. If they shoot someone in that zone even with a pistol they go insta-rogue. An even better idea would be massive Division shock turrets outside the door any aggression insta shock.

How about the people I saw hanging outside the DZ 03 safehouse just to troll people trying to get in to buy the blueprint?

I saw this on several occasions. Didn't affect me as I either was working to 75, or later already had the blueprint.

But seriously, you have to be a real jerk to just be hanging out there to keep people from getting in.

Absolutely love the idea of some heavy hitting Division Turrets near the gates, you wouldn't even have to escape into the gate, just get into the turret kill box. It would be a great equalizer for these campy clowns, would solve the gate camper problem once and for all.
