pretty much stopped running the daily hard and challenge modes

there's no point to running them anymore.
the phoenix credits were changed in 1.1 to be the new redundant currency, and there's nothing that drops from them that actually matters.

all i do now days is be forced into the DZ (i hate being forced into an area because the decision makers thought that was a cool idea, well its forking not), farm the bosses and chests for crafting material, as 99.9% of the items that drop (and yes, that includes the odd green i get from named elites) worthless. and i farm challenge incursion once or twice a day to gear up for the next incursion, which should be sped up with the introduction of 1.2.

Personally I think that they couple weapons that rotate to the BoO vendor each week should have a friggin god roll for perks on them if they are going to charge over 800 PC for them. The cost far out weighs the benefits of buying those weapons. My 182 vector that I rolled has better stats than the aug that was for sale the week before, and just giving it a 204 gear score wasn't anymore of a help to try and make me want to buy it. I hit 214 GS, and don't even bother with the incursion anymore as it's not fun and a waste of time. 99% of the gear that drops is worthless.

Yep. The reward system, or lack of, is very surprising. I couldn't even have thought this up if I tried hard enough. It's as clear as ever that this was yet another Ubi published game released too soon.

What's really funny is that the game was delayed for a year.

    FTFY

It was originally suppose to release in 2014.

I still run them... A few blueprints I don't own (but don't need) are in the way... Plus those two vanity items.

Granted it's less of a issue if it doesn't get done anymore.

Despite my frustrations with it, which are myriad, this game makes me laugh quite a bit. The WTF moments are numerous, and most are spectacular. This game is such a colossal failure on so many fronts. It's a train wreck you can't help but watch. The loot in the DZ may as well just appear/drop as weapons parts, fabrics, tools, and electronics....because 99% of the time, that's all they're good for. Creating what you want out of huge piles of bull****, then selling the rest of the bull**** so you can try and recalibrate your new piece of bull**** into something that's at least remotely useful.

All in all...I can't believe someone at Ubisoft said "Yep...this is ready to go. Time to print to disc."

The phen creds should always be useful for something no matter how many you get.

Exchange for DZ funds being the best idea ever.

Everything that was said before is spot on. I dont bother with the dailies either. I am capped on PC most of the time. Running the DZ is the only content left. The DZ is just as everyone said, a farm. So all you do is kill the same bosses over and over and over again. I would buy some BP but they arent up. I guess that would give me some drive to farm the DZ for mats. Theres literally no content for anyone with decent gear.

They are going the wrong way with the constant gear score grind. Why won't these game companies ever learn that vertical progression is a horrible concept. Horizontal or tier progression (small steps) are way better. Now this company is stuck with gear gating which is a silly concept (and the fact that some lower level gear can be better than higher level gear). I will probably move on and would NEVER buy the season pass concept again. It seems most game companies that release a great game cannot follow up with great updates (or in the case of Firefall the game goes from a great beta to a horrible release).
