I wouldn't mind the DZ and getting killed by rogues if I only lost my weapons. Or only my keys. Or only my XP. Or only my credits. But when I lose some measure of all of those *******ed things each and every time, it gets old. All of those things are too hard to come by to begin with, to lose them every time some cockwit trying to make up for their failed life decides to derive his fun from depriving you of yours.

It's hard enough to progress in this game. The good blueprints in the DZ cost a mint. The good ones in the base cost a metric ****ton of Phoenix Credits. The loot you get in the DZ is garbage at best, but necessary on a large scale just so you can farm the materials so you can re-roll your blue prints from the crap builds they keep giving you. The game is a horrific struggle on all fronts. It's such a grind it's unreal. And the fact that progress can not only be slow...but go BACKWARDS when you're losing everything you need to progress even slightly...it's just unreal. The gap between the haves and have nots is wider than the Grand Canyon right now...and currently, they play on the same server against one another...often 4 on 1. The people that made this game are complete morons.

Change it to don't lose DZ money instead of XP and I'd consider it. That's my problem is money. It's so hard to come by unless you do DZ in groups a lot or just have a ton of time.

well i run solo in the DZ about 80% of the time I'm in there. reached 75 with little to no problem honestly. its more fun with a group usually but often i dont feel like grouping with randoms and i have no friends who still play.

i think the penalty isn't too harsh for dying to rogues. maybe it could be changed so its not quite as much (I'm talking a small change). i just think in order to give the game a sense of danger you have to have something at risk; not just your loot or dz keys.

i dont see why so many people have problems with rogues. dont fight them if you dont want to, and do turn your back to any agents that arent in your group. consider any person you see to be a rogue just waiting to happen. i do this and dont have problems as i either run away if needed or wait until they go rogue and blast them with explosive bullets and shock turrets. the DZ needs rogues to be interesting.

if anything i think the penalty for dying while rogue should be slightly higher. nothing near what it was like before they updated it and made it reasonable (it was absurd how much you lost when the game released, which obviously caused no one to go rogue). however i think it should be slightly higher, because if i remember right it never seems all that bad to die as a rogue, maybe 3x the penalty of dying normally.

to be fair i think the penalty for dying to NPC and to Rogues is the same. that seems fair to me. dying to NPC is ever worse than to a rogue because they are predictable. so the fact that dying to a rogue doesnt make you loose more than dying to a NPC seems reasonable to me.just keep it as it is. dont fix what isn't broken

LOL , no ones in the DZ are " innocent " or " guilty " of anything , its a similar concept to games like neither and Dayz etc.. ITS A SANDBOX PVP not a matchmaking halo style pvp like destiny and to me its fun , and iam not a " small dude " who want to feel " bigger " iam sorry , i enjoy the manhunt and the chalenge of surviving it agains crap tons of players and the strategy involve around that , defense vs offense vs holding ground vs running away and repositioning , if you think i care jack sh about killing one dude to get flag i have no enjoyement in doing it , but i do love the manhunt chase so you got to do what you got to do and also , having a threats is what make thing fun .... If the loot was more rewarding maybe we would care more about not loosing it

1- No different DZ servers, PVE only is the rest of the map which devs should (i guess they spoiled they will) make it live again
2- When someone goes rogue it is a lone wolf thing meaning if he is in a group he is auto kicked (he is the traitor not the group) then a timer starts and if the group decides to stay within 50m from him after 15s the hole group goes rogue and rankX (number of group players in range)
3- The first kill that gets you going rogue and any kills during the 15s timer grants you nothing no xp no credits no loot since those are usually a backstabbing move and not a real pvp, and who dies looses nothing making the pve guys not loose interst in the area
4- the first killed guy may put a bounty for the rogues head which will come from his funds and added to the games normal bounty for hoever kills the rogue
    5- Rogue r1 shows on radar within .1km, r2 .2km, r3 .3km, r4 .4km, manhunt appears on everyones radar
6- Once a character has jumped into another bracket it cannot go back even if he changes his gear for a lower GS
7- Extraction should be heavily guarded and each successful ext should give credits and xp
8- Higher DZ should translate into higher gains xp and credits and loot
9- Checkpoint and safehouses should have one shot kill turrets with a certain range so no gankers get away with it.

I think that way there will be real pvp and not backstabbing and running stupidity that this is today
This sounds rather good: Less rewards for backstab-ganking-no-chance-lolz-kills. Combine that with the announced improvements to loot and progression... yep, might actually bring the game closer to "being awesome after a year of continuous work and improvements".

Taking from the above, "docking" for bullying might work as well, i.e. if you engage and destroy a player with equipment that gives them no realistic chance against you you lose xp & credits on a sliding scale....

If they got rid of losing xp completely then I may go there more, but I only want a higher rank to buy the best items, otherwise I hate the dark zone. I have so much more fun running missions, even if they have been repeated many times.

They should make dark zone as danger as it can. Dark zone is too save now. Bring Truth danger!

    1. Populate the darkzone with NPC 10 times , increase 5 times their current health, 3 times damage and eyesight to see players.
    2. Once player can not clear the group in 20 sec they will call for support and arrive in 10 sec
    3. Reduce boss and random NPC re spawn time by 2/3
    4. They will more aggressive to attack rouge agent. Random NPC will attack man hunt aggressively included boss
    5. DZ ammo is not for free and request DZ fund!

For rouge agent THE whole server is truthfully running to you.

Fixes that should have been from day 1

    1. Non rogue agent getting killed by rogue should not loose any xp, can loot keys and small amount of credits
    2. While in rouge status or manhunted you CANT exctract ANY item. Survive timer or die trying.
This will stop also extraction zone griefing and ganking. If you want to go rogue you know NO JTF force will help you at that time!
    3. Mitigation has to change while in DZ agaisnt players. Need to have a some way to build better defence agaisnt player bullets so even if you have less dps and not well geared you wont be 1-2 shotted in same bracket.
    4. Penalty for going rogue too often in certain amount of time means you cant go rogue DZ also for some time. This will stop gankers only running around killing lower levels and pretty much griefing only. They would have to do some pve in DZ to remove timer going rogue again.

Until these are not implemented nothing will change in DZ no loot change no new gear nothing.

No because I have no interest in P v P of any kind I don't see the point in P v P especially in a game like this.

So I really couldn't care what they do with risk/reward and the Dark Zone.
