    Why 214 ???

    I guess i understand what OP wanna say :
    One of my characters has a 204 gold holster (crafted with BP) and i bought the 214 Nomad emerald BP at special dz06 shop...
    I just had to cry about the loss of so much materials and DZ founds, for a so bad result!
    The 204 gold is way better than 214 emerald, even on Calibration you can see the 214 cannot reach the level of 204...

    Everything is subject to RNG. The 214 gear has better potential than 204, but that doesn't guarantee you a better roll. You may have to roll a significant number of 214 blueprints to ever get something that is better than a 204 piece you're using.

    Sure, I could equip my agent with gear that ups the gear score to 225, but the stats are terrible, and the gear set is Striker's...

    On a long enough timeline, meaning you craft or loot the hell out of it, higher gear score items will always be better. That comes with a caveat, 191 gear has worse rolls than 183 gear. I think they did this to balance the power of gear sets, but it's simply frustrating. My hope is that with 1.2 they have balanced looting to properly be the replacement for crafting that they intended 1.1 to be.

    My hopes are low.

    Edit:
    You never should have bought the Nomad blueprint. Unless they change the bonuses of the gear, it is absolutely useless in game.

    Yep, i know & i didn't even need or want it... but as there's no other one available...
    My main character is 3 sentry's + 2 striker's (+1 gold suit)
    My second is 3 striker's + 2 tactician's (+1 gold holster)
