when groups can almost sprint through challenge mode normal missions for a 'small chance at something really random that might be good' it gets real old real fast .. and FL is just a pia yes i have cleared it a few times and had 1 good drop ... the story line was awesome but unfortunatly cleared fast in a group with friends slower if solo but its supposed to be online etcafter that what is there? more grinds or rush / glitch / fing hackers runs on challenge missions and the DZ ... yup not much and as said the DZ is a real hit and miss go in see no one grind a bit then bam get shot from no where by a weird *** named hacker lose all the exp / credits u just grinded out .. ok jin a group same crap happens or one wants to go rogue or u run into a 4 man rogue group with GS of 200+ meh pvp i can handle but an organised group should always win a pug group simple as and again u lose all that crap u where just farming for ... not gear exp / credits
I havent even loaded uplay up in over a week no reason to play dailies? phoenix creds yaaay . wait what are they for now? ...
Assuming they havent fixed the chat spam yet either so main base is a bithc to see anything in chat till u TYPE their name in first instead of clicking it .. /sigh
On PS4 I have over 400 friends on my friend list. When the division first came out, it was not uncommon for me to have close to 200 people playing the game. I logged in the other day just to give the dailies a quick run, and I had 3 people on my friend list playing the game. Dead in a month? It's dead now.
Because ubi won't keep the servers open just for you and your friends. If no one plays, the game dies.Originally Posted by Liquid Cheese Go to original post
I certainly wouldn't say it's "happening big time". Up until about 2 weeks ago, I had 20+ friends on every night. This last week I've not had more than 2..... glad you still have folks to team with, but I'm hardly the only one who's noticed this.Originally Posted by Liquid Cheese Go to original post

The game is dying on ALL platforms, the PC is the most obvious one due to hackers, but it's not just the hackers that caused PC players... and others... To leave.
The game is boring.
It lacks content.
The loot economy is broken.
There are tons of broken things e.g. One is None, you actually get shot through cover by the AI, yet you can only suppress them, etc.
The big one: Nobody likes the DZ except for a very, very small minority... like 0.1% and they cannot keep this game alive even if every single one of them bought the DLC.
Massive have said they realize what is going on, but the reality is most of this is damage control. Nobody has faith in them to actually improve the game since their past actions destroyed it systematically.
not sure if it will truely be dead in a month or not but use to have an average of 15-20 friends playing it now i rarely see more than 4 of them playing it now, i myself have lost major intrest in the game since 99% of the drops a garbage, and i think that even when they release the 1.2 update i do not think it will perk my interest very much to make me want to play it as much as i did the first couple weeks of the game being out.
there realy is no good end game to this game since there is not enough missions to keep people interested in repeating them daily, and the dz has 0% interest to a major amount of the players and it seems to get worse each day instead of better.
the 1.2 update claims it will have a better loot drop rater but i think its a little to late to draw many people back to the game.
even the season pass expansions do not seem to have much interest to me, the first so called expansion is probably only going to be a bunch of side missions that take place in areas of the game we have already been playing in since day 1, and the rest of the season pass crap all seems to be a horde style game play which i do not think will appeal to to many people that have left the game to draw them back in i myself do not have any interest in horde modes and have no interest in thes 2nd and 3rd expansion.
the only thing i think will ever draw old players or even new players into playing this game is to open up the map more with each expansion alot not just one room or one block at a time.
You can use statistics and anecdotal evidence to extrapolate the same is probably true for consoles (population numbers are dwindling). It won't ever be a 1:1 number of course, but that is not what statistics are about. They are about trends (means, averages, outliers, etc).Originally Posted by MrDtoxify Go to original post
The big thing that supports this is...
-Countless posts of people saying they had huge Friends Lists of people playing the game at lunch. Now, only one, or two... including themselves.
-People have reported that at retailers like Target, BB and Gamestop, the clerks have reported tons of copies of The Division being returned. One reported they may even drop the price to $25 next month. That's more than HALF in just two months. Most console game prices don't drop that much for a BRAND NEW copy for over a year.
-Youtube and Twitch viewing numbers have dropped off dramatically because they follow viewer trends. The viewers are playing better games like Overwatch, etc. and they drive the content more than the content creators do.
-The forums itself.
This forum might be a very small, vocal minority, but everything people discuss here (anecdotal evidence) has a common thread about people just not being motivated to play the game because there isn't anything fun to do, for various reasons.
