I am actually tired of seeing all these explosions in the game but yet no way to capitalize on them, I want to be able to do the same as my enemies. So I've been thinking about all the things I'm seeing, but yet are not accessible to us. Keep in mind; I have not seen all of the content, as far as the Incursions are to be concerned with. However I have completed 100% of the Meta Game and dove in to the Dark Zone both on PC and on the PS4. Since The PC was overloaded with Hackers I had to turn my gaming to the PC in order to save face on quitting the game entirely. I loved The Division, I think it has a lot of potential and I want it to succeed in the future. So with that being said, I want to see a new class and play style be introduced into the game before anything else gets too far out of reach for it to happen.
Let me start off with What I'm seeing in the game that the enemies have and we do not.
- Landmines
- Wall Mines
- Bomb Packs
- Grenade Launchers (M203's)
- Tanks or Vehicles (Incursion)
- Baseball Bats or Golf Clubs
Now for the Things I would love to see for us.
- New Class (based on the things missing; Demolitionist)
- Plastic Explosives (C4, Dynamite, TNT, Plastique, old fashion sticky bombs (grease in a sock and bomb)
- M203 Grenade Launcher Attachment for the M16A1
- Rocket Launcher
- Special Atomic Demolition Munition (SADM)
- MK-54 Davy Crockett
- M-18 Recoilless Rifle
- M-28 or M-29 Davy Crockett Weapon System - Recoilless Rifle (RCLR) used for firing M-388 Nuclear Projectile.
- Suitcase Nuclear Device (Backpack Bombs)
- GP-25 Grenade Attachment for the AK-47
- Milkor MGL
- XM25 CDTE
- XM OICW
- AGS-30 (turret)
- HOWA Type 96 (turret)
- M61 Vulcan
I feel that a Demolitionist or a Demolition's Expert would be a vital role in the game and a new way to play a character inside the game. It's not so much overbearing or Overpower, as long as you're putting limits on the way they are played. I can certainly see myself playing the role and it would definitely be much different that playing as a Technician. The Major difference would be that they would heavily focus on Explosions and Heavy Guns. They would be a little low on health (glass cannon) with high emphasis on Bombs, Explosives, and Rockets or Grenades. Depending on the Weapons some would have a long reload time, or Turret set up timer. With Explosions, It would definitely be easy to kill the person, so Heavy Armor and a way to avoid being in the front line or the thick of things. Weapons would be effective for Area Damage and Medium and Long Range while explosions (pre-battle) could be set up for close range combat or Suicide Missions. Using a Set-up of explosives could be used to maneuver enemies into a trap Since the Demolitionist's can hide their Explosives since they are experts. Throwing Dynamite Sticks or Grenades, or even setting up TNT or Backpack bombs could have a major outcome on the enemies by giving them more bang for their bucks. Since the Demolition Experts are just that, they would get a bonus to capacity of how much they can carry in regards to Grenades or Special Ammunition. Always dealing with high caliber weapons it's a heavy load to carry, but the means justifies the end.
As for things getting fixed, There are a few glitches I am still seeing, in the Ps4 Version and the PC Version.
1st and foremost, I must say that I just got my PC back today from a Hacker Attack who got into my account and took my character's inventory and cleaned it out, either by destroying or selling, or deconstruction of my weapons and gear.
Somehow when I went to log into the game I went from Rank 54 on the PC to Rank 1?? WTH Ubisoft?
Then next I see graphical glitches all over my screen before I even logged into the game. Those finally cleared up after a while.
As for the Ps4, There are still a few Falling through the World areas I am experiencing. And I'm currently using a crafted Vector and When I reach to the last round of a magazine and sometimes the last 2 rounds, I get glitched out and I'm not able to reload, In order to correct the issue, I have to switch out my weapon and then switch back. Finally When inside the Lincoln Tunnel I am seeing a Sandbag Glitch. When I'm getting hit in Cover and then I'm all of the sudden getting stuck layed over the Sandbags and I'm not able to move, get revived, revive myself with a healing station, or switch out weapons, or anything else. I found out the only way to get unstuck without leaving the game was to completely die and let party members revive me from unconsciousness. OR reset the current Battle. This is very annoying.
That's all I have for now, I hope the Devs see this, and take it under consideration.
The whole point was to make an impact. lol But I see what you're saying. As far as Rockets I can understand, However for the demolitionist class suggestion I believe with only allowing the Rocket Launcher only having 1 or 2 shells at a time with a long reload time would be still a good idea.Originally Posted by Carthalion Go to original post

While it may be true that this isn't GTA but this is a military game. And that alone doesn't have to be held or compared against GTA. There can be restrictions and limits on Ammo/ reload times to reduce OP'ness.Originally Posted by AshawnXX Go to original post
Sticky bomb is like a rocket launcher.Originally Posted by Pyxx Go to original post
I'm sorry but no it's not. It's totally different, and I would know I'm a Disabled Veteran. And There is a huge difference in Sticky Bombs, and Rocket Launchers. I will say this though, The in-game Sticky bomb would be more compared to a Propelled Grenade Launcher as oppose to a Rocket Launcher. Rocket Launcher have more impact and way more damage output.Originally Posted by Mr_AndersonNEO Go to original post
