yes it is obsessive and compulsive. And unnecessary,we are all allowed to voice our opinion, regardless of whether you think it is right or wrong, what makes you always right?

Ubi issue infractions to people for making any negative comment, quite disturbing really..

your opinion is mired in false information 99% of the time. Continue to keep that up it and I'll keep pointing it out.

Sorry -- I did not mean to imply that you were one of the people suggesting Elliott was on the payroll, and when I looked back at that comment, I realized that's how it read. It is a common enough thing that I've seen it alleged multiple times, so it was intended as "any of you watching who feel this way," but I did not take your message to mean it. Sorry for the lack of clarity.

I personally think you are making a mistake by not releasing the full details of the pack on Friday. Every time the info gets leaked there seems to be more hype around a pack because people actually have something to talk about.
When things do not leak, people talk about the song or artist we do reveal through the puzzle, and there's plenty of speculation over the weekend. It would be a mistake if there was no conversation, but there always is, in either case. Then, on the standard reveal schedule, the conversation continues on Monday, and then again Tuesday. If we reveal it all too early, then it's old news by the time it actually comes out. I've seen this happen; it's based on experrience and watching how the conversation flows. There is a method to this madness.

Nope. Ubi issues infractions to people who make the forums a negative environment. Personal attacks, wild assumptions, inciting drama -- that's what puts people on the sidelines. As my mom always said, it's not what you say, it's how you say it. If you can express displeasure or disagreement without being inflammatory or using words intended to provoke conflict, then it's no problem -- but some people seem to want to put on a show when they express their opinions, and that's not welcome. They can find another theater for those performances.

It's like a public park, really. Go there, play football, have a picnic -- it's a public space, and you are welcome to have fun there. You can even get on a soapbox and address everybody with a political point. But if you start shouting at people, lighting your soapbox on fire, or make the park an unpleasant place for everybody else who has an equal desire and right to be there, then you're the one who will be escorted out. It's a public space, but it's still a place with simple, clearly posted rules about what you should and should not do here.

Most of those rules are common sense and center around mutual respect -- but if you don't share that common sense or understand mutual respect, then you're going to be reprimanded. If you don't like the rules the way they are, then you don't have to come to this park. If you think you can get along with the common sense and mutual respect vibe, then you can come back in after the infraction is up. This is neither a totaliarian regime nor rocket science. Wheaton's Law is kind of all you need, but we have more explicitly stated rules for folks who need them.

And truly, Bazz: For all the complaints, concerns, and objections you voice about how the forum mod staff treats people, you have returned to this social space time and again for three years now., and none of the information I have laid out yet again for you is new to you -- you know these are the rules here, and you know how things work. If you really do experience this forum as a troubling or oppressive environment, I do not understand why you choose to return every day.

I presume the newsletter would have been finished already, as it usually includes a clue for a piece of DLC that's already released...
