1.2: Massive's last chance. Loot edition.

At this point with incursions and their glitches, and nothing but garbage dropping, even in the DZ, the appeal of better loot being in the DZ is null and void. All enemies need to start dropping all spectrum of gear.

Regular challenge mode enemies need to have a chance to drop 163 gear, bosses need to have a garanteed 180 with a chance of 202 HE and 191 set pieces, with extreme chances of a 214 set piece.

Incursions need a bonus set piece reward every time you finish at the 191 score, and the drops from the boss have to be a HE of 202 and a set piece of 214. CM incursions need to give a bonus drop of 2 214 set pieces and garanteed 2 240 drops. Hard needs to reward with 30 PC every time, and challenge 50. Weekly bonuses can be 50 Pc for hard, 100 for CM.

They need to follow through with what they ORIGINALLY said for DZ loot. Lvl 30 bosses- 163 with a chance of 182. 31- 182 with a chance of 202. 32 bosses- garanteed either a 191 set piece or 202 piece with a chance of a 214 set piece.

Enough screwing around... just do it. Alter the loot tables. Give the old crafting system back. Populate the pve map.

    Just. Do. It.

Even I'm starting to lose interest in this game, and I usually have a high tolerance for bullshot.

Posted from the ignored 36 page thread in suggestions forum.

1.2 is the last chance a lot of people are willing to give this game. If you screw this up, I honestly believe the game will not recover in any significant way. At least address the huge problem with the loot system, if nothing else.

You want more loot we get it. I upgrade my gear at a rate of a piece every 4-6 hours playtime. That's reasonable to me. If I were to get an upgrade every, say 30 mins, I'd be done with upgrading my gear in a few hours. Would I be happy? Nah. I'd be done until next patch.

Would be great to see him in the background of one of Hammich's live streams or State of the Game videos.

First of all, that will end. You will hit a wall.

Second, you'd be a lot happier stopping at that point and waiting for the DLC, and much more likely to return, rather than quitting out of frustration before the DLC.

Third, even the brutal RNG would be blunted and wouldn't have to be addressed as quickly, as long as there was a far greater pool of loot to choose from.

Fourth, are you a troll? You're actually saying, with the game in the condition its in that you would be against more loot... really? You can't be serious... you are just trolling...

I haven't played in a week and don't miss the game at all in its current state. They need something big to happen with this next update or the game will be dead. I have almost 1000 psn friends, there was about ~130 people on average playing the first couple weeks of this games release. Now there's under 20, this game sucks in its current form

So spending 4-6 hours of your free time to upgrade one piece of gear in a video game is acceptable to you?

Yea massive you should cater your game to basement dwellers like this, thats a sure fire recipe for success

Well Shia is right about this. It does not only reflect in real life but also in entertaining world that gaming belongs to. Massive is too new company in MMOPRG world and they probably think that they have 1+ years to slowly adjust game core progression. Sadly they are so wrong and time is running out. Shia video is spot on here.

Same here. I started playing other multiplayer games and enjoy investing my time else where. Its not about i dislike Division and moved on it was all about lack of progress vs time invested each day. That much rng is just more horrible than going into casino and gambling with slot machines that have fixed ratio how much they give out winnings.

As the Diablo III devs said, sure, people can get loot fast and then stop playing, but they leave happy and come back for the DLCs. If they can't ever feel like they're getting anywhere, they just leave. I mean, I haven't found (or been able to craft) an assault rifle better than the first Black Market AK I crafted, 6 weeks ago. That does not feel like progress.

And I wouldn't read this as "everybody gimme loots all the time," but simply that when you're doing endgame content, it should be dropping things you feel are appropriate to endgame content. Not iLevel 30 performance mods and Yet Another Strike Mask.

Trolling because I have a different opinion? Man you'd be great in a conference room.

I don't think we need gear inflation. Games that do revolve around getting bigger and better loot do feed you crums, else people reach "endgame" within hours and, hop, they are done. What I would like to see is more content. Two/three new instances and two concurrent incursions, with one being the stepping stone for the next.

You are on the verge of quitting in frustration due to the RNG? I am not in your position. I have better gear than I need for my current gaming (everything except CM Incursion til next week) and I'm happy to enjoy DZing at my own pace and getting still a gear upgrade every 4-6 hours. Because I, personally, enjoy the game. Need improvements? Sure. But your solution doesn't at all go in the direction I feel is needed.
