what missions actually have a chance to drop them?

my guess is 182 if not 163 both r quite useless for endgame

myself i found a classic M1a GS 163 best i have ever found in gankzone
might be a better solution to let mobs drop some higher gearscore weps basicly
outside of gankzone ofc

Russian Consulate and Lexington (faster) are on of the better ones to run if you are hunting an M1A I think. I do RC because it drops LMGs, Assaults, and Marksmans.

Not really I have a first wave purple that has had better stats than the HE's I have had dropped I still use. Just cause it's one talent less but has two good talents and more damage than the HE' ones I have dropped. People need to stop thinking GS means crap. YOu can have a lower GS and great stat matching pieces and you can have a bunch of random high GS equipment that really doesn't help you at all.

yep ur right for this .GS is not all but i haven't found any decent M1a so far
and if i find one i like to have one with higher Gs ofc
i know GS means crap in general(get kicked for low GS,bad talents)

my first FW M1a was purple and i used it a long time
until i found a classic M1A GS 163 which was way better
so i look for the highest possible GS to drop for me
possibly a FW M1A GS 182 or even higher

as a solo player its hard to come by for those
