Wearing a t-shirt is fine until you come into contact with common battlefield things like...fire. I know back when I was in Afghanistan our uniforms were specifically made to be flame ******ant (ACS, FRACUs, etc.). That's what really sketches me out about this game. If you're just patrolling then that's fine but if you know you're going to get into some thick combat you'll want to kit up.

Ask Joe Remirez how well it worked out for him to roll up his sleeves trying to be all high speed before getting into a fight.

Too soon man, too soon! Lol. (Really hope we see Ramirez in Wildlands). I'm sure we'll have some sort of BDUs, atleast pants if nothing else, pretty sure one of the Ghosts was wearing some sort of camo. I know we're probably gonna have OPS-CORE helmet, since one was apparently seen on a picture on the Wildlands website. if there's gonna be any camouflage fatigues I'd rather we limit the amount of Multicam, since it wouldn't be the best to go assaulting an enemy base clearly dressed as US soldiers.

Will there be character customization options or are there 4 set soldiers and outfits?

Yes i don't know why they can't talk about it. there's even a gear set that you get if you pre-order (includes jacket)
