Come on Ubi/Massive, 1 hit kills through cover?

Here I am, grinding Lexington, get past the roof, no problem. Get into the area after the elevator, first two waves go down easier than drunk sl*t. Third wave pops out, I hit cover, go to toss my airburst seeker mine, instantly killed by a shotgun. Really? I mean, I can take one hit. I can take 1 on Consulate on challenging, Lexington, WarrenGate. I took one earlier this same play through on Lexington. And in those instances, I was either out of cover or leaning out to shoot. But here, I was completely in cover. Unless his buckshot went perfectly through the tiny *ss gap in the cover and he hit me in my toe, he hit me through cover. There was no grenade, I was at full health (85,652hp) with 60.39% damage mitigation. So, wtf Ubi/Massive? This isn't the first time this sh*t has happened. Not even the tenth, not even the twentieth. I get hit fairly often when I'm "in cover". I get hit fairly often when the NPCs have absolutely no line of sight.

Honestly, it isn't even the big stuff that bothers me about this game, its the enormous mountain of small things that p*sses my *ss off. I can't fire my gun without having to worry about it jamming. I can't revive someone without getting shot through objects (this isn't f*cking CoD). I can't play challenging missions without having 50/50 odds of spending 20 minutes locked out. Grenades that kill me when I'm no where near the red circle. You guys really need to hire about 50 people to fix this mess, because what you have currently are a group of inept devs who got their degree out of a box of generic captain crunch.

Did you even watch your own video????
You did "not" get killed through cover......
You got killed from your right flank.... the hit indicator tells you where the shot came from!

And btw... HP and armor is not the only thing you need in PvE
Protection against elite is very important!!!!..... i only have 54.000 HP, 58% mitigation, but 30% protection against elite on my PvE set.... i can take 2-3 shots from a shotgunner in Falcon Lost and when overcharged (what i am permanently) i can take 4-5 shots from a damn shotgunner!
... but usually they never get so close and in worst case they can only fire 1 shot.
Same for snipers in FL... with that setup i can take 2 hits and overcharged 3-4 hits.

Yea, I bet you do, pal. I support your life choices. F*ck off my thread with this "get gud" sh*t you perpetual virgin. How does one "get gud" when the game does this? Like, really, please inform me. How am I able to take hits from the shotgun guys when I'm out of cover or leaning out to shoot, but when I'm in full cover, I can't take 1 hit? I'd tell you to get f*cked, but you and I both know that the last time you touched a vag, was when you fell out of you gutter wh*re mother when she gave birth to you in a 7/11 bathroom.

How the hell do I get hit from the side two seconds after the third wave comes out? That makes no sense, they have no time to get there. In order to get to the third wave, you'd need to kill every single NPC in wave two. Let me say it again, you need to kill every person in the second wave to start that third wave. Unless my teammate figured out how to do friendly fire, no one was to my side. No one. You see the f*cking door open in the clip, bro. I very much see where it says I'm getting hit from, but unless I got hit by a ghost of the guys we just killed, there was precisely ZERO NPCs in that room besides the ones directly in front of me.

Unless they had a patch that came out I wasn't aware of, protection from elites is bugged, and instead allows them to do more damage.

lol shotsnipers ... he shot you in the space between the piano and the elevator :P
    i always statede that shotsnipers are way bugged ... spread = 0 , optimal range = 60meters , zoom=20x
get used to it and get yourself thos 5% more reduction ... consider that armor is your first mitigation in the damage reduction math... mening it's the most important mitigation stat ... 5% is a lot more damage.

That's the only thing I can think of. My problem is how did he drop me in one hit? I've been able to takes those hits and not die in one hit for weeks. It's like the cover adds damage. It's been like that on Consulate too. In the first section, if I go up the first few stairs on the left, when it gets to that first round balcony or whatever it is, I can be in full cover, not popped out shooting, and a shotgun guy below me will kill me with 1 hit. But i can take the one shotgun hit and not die when im not in cover. Next time I go through there I'll record it to see if it does it again. I love this game, but it's such a buggy mess that I hardly enjoy it anymore.

I'm trying to get that extra 5%, or anything really. Just having a hard time finding good drops atm. Hopefully they fix the protection from elites bug soon and this might not be an issue, but with as many bugs as this game already has, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Protection from Elites was fixed in the Hot Fix during the server maintenance on Thursday. You can see the notes here http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...th-maintenance

No, you got hit from the right flank. The minimap even shows you the red indicator of hostiles in that direction before the door opens.

You might think you killed all of the hostiles, but you obviously didnt.

Observe - first frame of the vid, showing the red hostile to your right, followed by the frame in which the door opens, still showing the red hostile to your right:

Lol you're an idiot. My group and I can kill literally every single NPC in Lexington and it will STILL show enemies on the minimap. It's glitched.

And, I'll say this a third time, because you clearly don't play Lexington enough, in order for you to get to the third wave in the room, you need to kill EVERY SINGLE NPC. The door WILL NOT open otherwise. Same for the second wave, you need to kill EVERY SINGLE NPC in the first group before the second group comes out. It has ALWAYS been that way. I can post the video of that entire section, but it takes too long. Any more idiots that tell me otherwise, and I will gladly do it. I would love to make you look like an idiot.
