After putting in 4 days of playing time I've reached a point where I personally don't have the motivation to go further, and to spend the time needed to get my gear score from 188 to over 220. Does anyone else feel like this? The game was great and fun, and I had good times with it. I just simply cant spend more hours upon hours running these same missions/incursion hunting for 240,214, and 204 gear. Not looking to argue, I'm just looking for people who feel like me.
It really did take on a new sense of frustration when the goal line was moved further away by raising the power cap on gear with the inclusion of the Incursion. That and the crafting nerf which leaves me with getting less while requiring more effort. I am at the point where it is a matter of GS so the only reason to log in is the CM Incursion weekly reward. Two hours a play time a week and anything beyond that is a waste of time.
I can still play
Ive never really gotten into a 3ps before so it is still refreshing to hone my skills in something other than fps.
But that doesnt mean replayability isnt running thin. Plus add in the fact the loot sucks so i cant get good gear there and the vendors suck so I cant get anything there I do feel a slight bit of nothing to aim for. My stats are improving at a snails pace too because of lack of loot
Chllenge incursion is the only way to improve but I just tried it and uhhhhhhhhhh **** THAT!!!! That is no fun at all.
A 3ps that I used to love was socom. This game is fun, but I simply cannot keep playing the same missions to upgrade my gear, simply to play those missions some more. I've approached a point where I feel like even progressing in the game is wasting my time, and that's dangerous for my long term interest in this.
That is exactly how I feel, thank you!Originally Posted by Shrap393 Go to original post
