Let me start by saying this is not a complaint thread. Simply something I would like to see. I love the DZ and aside from the daily missions and weekly Incursion run with friends it's where I spend all of my time. As much fun as I have this is incredibly upsetting for multiple reasons. There's no denying Ubisoft put in tons of work on the PvE map to make it look extremely realistic and very interesting. The down side is there's no point in exploring it after you finish the main game. There is also a huge lack of PvE content. I breezed through the main story and side missions incredibly fast with my 4 man group and was left wanting a lot more. I've been wanting PvE area changes since the game came out.
My question is, why hasn't Ubisoft made it possible to change the difficulty in the PvE area to hard or challenging? This would give players a reason to explore the PvE area more often. You wouldn't roll through NPCs with one foot shot from an M1A on every enemy. You could actually farm for materials, see the map, and have fun fighting NPC mobs just like in the DZ areas without running into Rogue agents. On top of that I think they should make encounters and side missions replayable at higher difficulties. This would allow PvE players the chance to experience the game again at higher difficulties as well as farm named bosses at the various bounty (or whatever they're called) side missions.
I've been sitting on this for a while hoping it would happen and wondering why it wasn't part of the initial game. Would anyone else like to see the ability to change the difficulty in the PvE area? Ubisoft/Massive, is there a reason this was not included in the game?
I put this in another thread this is what i'd love to see
All they could do is make the big part of the map playable upgrade all NPC's to level 31/32 and even 34's in the harder parts have named on 2 hour timers like the mat sites are and make the side missions replayable but on a challenge mode difficulty. make things harder to get in the light zone IE: drops level 31 mobs with a named (163 to 182) level 32 mobs with a named ( 191 to 204) and level 34 mobs with a named (204 to 214)
well THIS is a subject that ubisoft don'^t want to talk about ... it is pretty clear ... nobody ever answer those kind of question ... pve has to suck because they want you in the dz which is easy to improve ...
i don't know yours are great ideas ... i would love so much all of them i would play even 20h per day (i'm invalid person) this is such a shame to have an empty new york ... not even people on the streets it seems so unrealistic ...
I agree with you, but try starting a thread about it and see how many reply posts you get from the "git gud, stop your whining, find another game, so don't go in there then" smart mouths you get.Originally Posted by AK_8100 Go to original post
In terms of economics, this would be a great idea.
Ubisoft invested a lot of millions $ to create and populate the PvE zone.
But as the game is an end-game, you're spending very little time in it.
Whereas the end-game content (which is actually played) is a lot more smaller.
So maybe they could make something of it.
But after they've fixed the large number of bugs ! =P
