So i logged onto my game today and I got the message that I was banned. So I read the message to the full extent and tried to contact Ubisoft Support like it says. So i sent out an email and was chatting with live support. This was their response after I talked to 2 live support members. First of all they are saying that they can not tell me anything about my account information. They can not say when I got banned, why and I got banned. Second of all when I asked who I could contact to find more information they said that they have no information they can give to me at this time regarding who i can talk to or email. When I asked them if I should submit a ticket, I was told that its better to just look at the forums and keep my eyes out. ARE YOU SERIOUS!?! Most of my irl friends that play this game who hacked ( that I try to avoid playing with) are NOT banned? I feel like I have been robbed! No one is giving me any information and I am being punished for a crime that was never committed. How can I figure out why I got banned? Also why was I not given a warning like everyone else? Why was I sent straight into a perma ban without a warning or anything?
ANY HELP IS APPERCIATED!
Just a guess, but you probably got caught up in the wave of bans that are going to happen over the next few days. You probably were grouped with your hacking "friends" and were reported. Maybe you should chose your "friends" more wisely since they may have just gotten you banned.
Lesson learned, I hope.
I would try a different angle...
Their new policy clearly states that first offense will get you a 14-day suspension, and a permanent ban is possible on subsequent violations: http://tomclancy-thedivision.ubi.com...m:148-76770-32
I would verify that the ban is permanent, then if so, I would pursue the fact that according to their policy it should only be temporary (unless you've been reprimanded prior to this).
So are the console exploiters getting warnings/bans? I would like to know. I'd start playing again.Originally Posted by Kyosji Go to original post
