I'm a bit confused and figured I would farm this out to the community to see how they are handling it.
I've reported 3 hackers on PC and outside of the form reply seeing it was submitted I've had no real communications with Ubisoft till today night when they replied back to one of the tickets thinking me for my report and whatnot... At the very end it says "for any future cheater reports, please update this ticket."
That sounds good to me... but in the same email it also states that if they don't hear from me within 4 days they'll close the ticket... Okay... That's some mixed signals. (Or maybe they assume that I'll run into a hacker more often than every 4 days?)
So is everyone just updating or are you submitting a new ticket?
Also what capture software do people prefer...? I for the life of me cannot get ShadowPlay (NVIDIA) to capture when I play The Division. (I think its because it only captures in full screen and I cannot boot the Division up in full screen mode most days. (I have to Alt-Enter it at the black screen and then reapply full screen in the options.)
Once you submit a new photo/video or comment the ticket gets updated and reopened so they see it everytime its updated if its past the 4 days or not. Not the best system but basically if you add any info for lets say a new hacker it will be sent to them and they will get the info and the ticket will reopen. Had same issues creating a ticket for every time i came across a cheater.
It would be nice if UBI publicly shamed those that they banned for cheating. Does anyone know for sure if anyone has really been banned? Based on UBI's history with cheats, or more specifically their lack of enforcement, I would like to see a public shaming list.
Rainbow Six siege is all but unplayable now due to the rampant cheaters and The Division is starting to show more and more signs of cheaters. Most of the division cheaters are related to poor coding on UBI softs part. The list just goes on.. the Incursion exploit that basically ruined the this expansion, the "Competent ability 2million dps exploit, even the Paramedic and Police Backpacks exploits.
I really think UBI should stick to single player games because on the multi player MMO front they are failing badly
Thanks for the info.Originally Posted by MadMike82508 Go to original post![]()
