I absolutely loved that mission! As a "good guy", I was quite eager to find her.

I remember playing that mission for the first time with my friend, and finding her in the middle of the street. It was a dead of night and I couldn't see a thing. I could only hear the music. I was confused at first, but as I got closer... I almost bumped into her. I suddenly realized she was right there in front of me. All alone, just playing her piano. At night. Not far from a place where we had just slaughtered a bunch of Rikers.

My jaw dropped. I was speechless. After I realized what just happened, I almost got up from my sofa and gave Ubisoft a slow clap.

However, I do remember getting a "thank you" speech on the radio. And seeing her play piano with Lau's sister from time to time. But that was after some patches. It's also fair to say I started to play The Division fairly late, after many bugs and glitches were fixed with updates.

So, they didn't really mess up the story. I would say it was a bug that ruined your experience with this mission.

These are the kind of moments that stick with us long after we've put the controller down. I'm glad to hear it had such an impact on you.

Moments like this, as well as countless other details I saw in game, is why I love The Divison so much. I hope The Division 2 will also have moments like this.

When I was exiting Camp Hudson, during my first few days of playing, I took a wrong turn and ended up near some earth movers. I noticed two wide trenches, and quickly realized they were digging mass graves. And there were bodybags all around me. It creeped me out. I realized just how grim the situation is for the survivors.

Then, one time, I was on my way back to base in the middle of the night. I was passing by an electronics store when I suddenly heard singing. A woman was singing "Scarborough fair" to someone, possibly her child. I couldn't find her, I could only hear her singing. It made me sad, as well as creeped me out.

Or when I killed one of the mid bosses of Rikers, and then entered their hideout. What I saw was dozens of cannabis plants in pots, under neon lights. I laughed out loud, thinking how fun it must've been for those guys.

Or when I was looking for Faye Lau's sister. I fillowed the echoes to her apartment, and I knew there were some rioters there who wanted to do her harm. I was so relieved to see her alive and well, and a rioter lying on the floor with a smashed guitar next to him.

It always those little details you notice that really make the Division, THE DIVISION.

During one of my runs through the Dark Zone, I came across a street that was blocked by bulldozers and what looked like piles of garbage. It was the middle of the night, and everything was completely dark, except for a few lights and flares. I was too busy fighting for my life at the time, so it took me a minute to realize what I just saw. After all my enemies were dead, I took a deep breath and for the first time paid attention to my surroundings.

And, to nobody's surprise except mine, I realized that the piles of what I thought was garbage turned out to be piles of carcasses wrapped in body bags. They were literally building mountains of corpses with bulldozers. *shudder*

I'm not even going to comment on some things I heard Rick Valassi say on the radio... :-o

I had a similar moment when I first entered the Dark Zone. It didn't have the grim shadow of night over everthing, but instead the overcast, cold, still air of a bleak and careless day. The atmosphere felt indifferent to the horror of it and that was what made it so chilling... at least to me.
