Today I got as far as the 13th wave in Incursion, with a random group,,when the host just out of nothing KICKED me
out of the game!
What kind of behavior is that?
Is there a new glitch allowing the host to let friends enter again,or was he just a big ***?
No wonder people do what ever it takes to complete this nonsenes!!
Basic group management.
I had the same on a mission.
The group's master can kill at any moment loot for any player.
And the player can't even contest or go fetch his loot.
Ubisoft didn't think about that, either.
But people keep saying that there's no problems in the game, apart from PC cheaters ....
I think Final Fantasy XIV would've been a better example than World of Warcraft. The developers of Final Fantasy XIV have actually openly mentioned how their matching and party systems work.
Not to mention, unlike most MMORPGs (or MMOs)... Final Fantasy XIV actually collects data on instances, as well as open world content. Below is a list of what is collected in Final Fantasy XIV, and sent to the developers:
- Dynamic Events - FATE Completion / Failure - The developers collect data on how a dynamic event fails in the open world, including how many players participated, what levels those players were, and what their average item levels were, as well as what classes they were, as well as what caused the FATE to fail, and how many players died, and if the dynamic event was scaled or not.
- Dungeon / Trials - Completion / Failure - The developers collect data on instances, if they fail or complete. Unlike FATEs / Dynamic events, more data is collected, due to a server being dedicated per server cluster just for instances separate of the world servers. Data collected includes: Average item level of gear, levels, classes/jobs, chat text, skills used when bosses fail, what killed players, if players were killed by AOEs, etc.
- Solo instances - Failure / Completion - There are solo story instances developed for this game, the same data is collected as if it were a dungeon or trial above.
- Levequests - Failure / Completion - Special quests that use phasing for enemies, they appear to you, but other players can't see them unless you attack them within view, etc. The same data is collected as if it were a solo instance.
Not many developers collect this much data, but Final Fantasy XIV does, for good reason. They tweak classes and jobs constantly, nearly every three weeks they change something about a class or job. In addition, data for instances includes if anyone was kicked, or if the dungeon / boss was voted to abandon.
No... DO NOT REMOVE IT! I've lost count of the amount of time I've been stuck with a flailing, moronic, wandering wombat disguised as Rambo on my Incursion team. Matchmaking gives me and my friend a 190 and a 204... That's cool, so we go in. The 190 then pulls out an LMG and a Liberator... Ok, maybe his build is reliant on them.
NO HEALS
NO BUFFS
NO DAMAGE
And he's running around thinking he's Neo in the f*cking matrix, going down easier than a 5 dollar ******. We tell him to get into cover, we tell him what he needs to do, but no... He is the chosen one and he will single handedly win the incursion by stopping every round, mortar and grenade with his stupid, flailing, moronic, wandering wombat disguised as Rambo face!
I can't tell you how many times there were those kinds of people in FInal Fantasy XIV as well. I still vote to remove the kicking optionm until they can add an option for voting players out. Certain missions, like incursions should also require a certain amount of players, such as 4 players, rather than a minimum of two or something smaller, and each player has to vote (The person who9 initiates the vote auto votes yes to kicking.) If the vote is stalemated, the player isn't kicked, and the person kicked isn't notified of the vote either. This is how FInal Fantasy XIV does it.Originally Posted by SAS_Preacher Go to original post
DA-NT3 don't you think you would have noticed that the player was not up to snuff before wave 13??? The last time I ran it I was booted just before the final bang, no idea why as I had actively did my part to include at least 10 Rez's why wait to boot me until the very end if I was being such a loser?
From what I've seen:Originally Posted by SAS_Preacher Go to original post
90% of kicks relate to booting a player with an extremely low GS right off the bat.
9% of kicks relate to booting a player after the mission is essentially done.
1% of kicks occur mid-mission after a player is underperforming.
I'd support the fix as booting at mission end is the bigger risk.
