Think of it this way, in that 2 hours on 1 persons DZ there were 9 people hacking(cheating) that got a 2 week ban in 2 hours, imagine how many people there are on everyone's DZ they go in, they have found the perfect way infront of 1000's of stream follower's to see someone hacking(cheating) so its a case of 1 hacker vs the entire stream community, if they are justified and not hacking they will need a strong case to deny themselves but tbh it's pretty easy to tell the blatant hackers(cheaters) from the discreet one's, so it will be interesting to see if they can in fact catch them all and remove them completely from the game, i doubt they can get them all but at least they can remove a majority while they work on removing the rest. I actually watched it as it happened and it was good i hope they put a rebroadcast of it upOriginally Posted by FireSnakeZero Go to original post![]()

While it was nice to see action finally being taken there so much more to be angry about than happy about. I mean all I got from all of this is that you gotta be friends with an Ubisoft Dev to play the game properly because if you dont.... Sorry buddies! The streamers are known glitchers and exploiters on top of everything else sooooo its almost like a slap to every legit players face and then some. I truly believe this was just an act of publicity. They want people to think something is actually being done when its not. What other reason is there to start addressing cheaters/hackers in such a high profile stream?! If they really did care they would just suddenly start banning cheaters each and every day and the quality of playing experience would slowly rise. But that isn't the case. Ubisoft is just gonna keep ****ting on its legit customers as usual.
They shouldn't need regular players to report anything, they just need to do a few searches on youtube and they would have a mountain of information about the problems with the game.Originally Posted by Agrobash Go to original post
What you saw was literally a vertical slice of their cheat-catching plan. The eyeball test.Originally Posted by Ezilyamuz3d Go to original post
What measures they have on the backend to find others, we don't know, but based on the bans being handed out today, we can assume that there is some sort of self-monitoring system that flags suspicious behavior
They probably don't have the funds, and/or, people to do that, so, it probably won't get done, that way.Originally Posted by Soda Jack Go to original post
People are badly over-estimating a hacker's resolve here.
2-week ban is a pretty substantial ban for someone who literally spends time searching for hacks on the internet, downloading them, installing them, activating them, and then learn how to use them.
Hackers aren't casual players. They are people invested in this game.
2-week ban is a good first penalty. Clean up your sh*t, or **** off.
I would also imagine that those that are 2-week banned, would get some sort of advanced monitoring of their behavior when their 2 weeks is up, so that permaban kicks in pretty quickly if they eff up again.
