There are hacks on Xbox One, it's just harder. In fact, a simple google search and/or reddit browse will lead you to Xbox One hacks. It is a "closed" system so, detecting un-natural behavior is easier when it comes to consoles, and usually result sin the consoles Hardware ID being banned, therefore rendering online play useless, and since Xbox One core is mainly compromised of online access, it could effectively make the caught Xbox One into a $600 media player.

But don't sit there saying that hacks are "non existent" that's just misleading and a lie.
Just because it's possible doesn't mean it's a rampant problem. I play a lot of competitive FPS games and NEVER run into hackers. So cool, i'll be here under this rock... You can chill with the hackers.

^^ Exactly this - it does happen on consoles but it's dealt with more quickly. It's also less likely to happen because it takes far more technical know how, and said cheaters are less likely to want to have to shell out $200+ for a new console (if they're caught and perma banned, versus say $50ish for a new game copy for PC).
Yeah I am definitely not saying it's not possible, it's just not as widespread, especially on this generation.

Yeah but it could be a bugged item combo. Which has NEVER happened in darksouls...lol Sorry I have played a ton of both 1 and 2 and they had their share of issues as well.

Wasn't too clear - but was just agreeing and didn't mean to imply otherwise. You're right - it's not as widespread as it is on the PC.

I'm just annoyed beyond belief at all the rampant hacking; the lack of any real concrete action against it; and the gaping exploits that were pointed out in beta (to which we were promised fixes before the game went live, yet they're still ingame).

I'm even more annoyed at the huge a$$ circle jerk of finger pointing to the other guy when I tried getting a refund on a severely defective product.

But jailbreaking isn't hacking particular games, it's getting software to run on it without paying for it among other things. The simple fact here ius we would have had a ton of complaints by now on many games forums if they were running rampant which they are not. Look, I feel you PC players pain, I used to be a huge PC gamer, but I have learned my lesson and moved on. I'm done with the PC platform. Well it has been done but was swiftly dealt with as you pointed out.
Actually the PS4 has not been JB'd. There was a Kernel exploit that was shown and allowed the user to run very limited code but that exploit was patched LONG AGO!

It was actually patched long before that exploit was proven on a PS4, the user never updated their PS4 in order to show the concept but that was as far as they got.

Meh, cheating is only rampant if it's allowed to be.

If this long ago was this month, then ok. If not, sorry it is JB.

JB allows you to run 3rd party stuff, hacks are distrubuted as 3rd party stuff. 100% sure that it all exists on PS4, have no idea about Xbox.
