It's more of the console itself being hacked or "jailbroken". Its is almost impossible for PS4 because of the encryption on the drive, etc. But on XBOne it is possible, but Microsoft is fairly competent and also the in game reporting and automatic checks do handle the "hacked" consoles fairly quickly.

Titanfall was affected, and Seige was affected.

My point being to the thread I was replying to, is that it isnt "non existent", it does happen, but the nature of consoles is that they are a "closed system", therefore the hacks and hackers are usually dealt with quickly.

I'm watching a Dark Souls 3 PS4 stream right now and the streamer definitely called out a cheater with infinite stamina <_< woe is me, even Dark Souls has not been unscathed.

Actually Tank it's already been done on the PS4 and WII+, not the xbone yet.. But jailbreaking isn't hacking particular games, it's getting software to run on it without paying for it among other things. The simple fact here ius we would have had a ton of complaints by now on many games forums if they were running rampant which they are not. Look, I feel you PC players pain, I used to be a huge PC gamer, but I have learned my lesson and moved on. I'm done with the PC platform. Well it has been done but was swiftly dealt with as you pointed out.

Easy to call something out, hard to prove it.

This guy is a pretty popular Dark Souls streamer. Partnered with Namco. The invader had Infinite stamina. No possible way to chain a pair of full stamina attacks.

^^ Exactly this - it does happen on consoles but it's dealt with more quickly. It's also less likely to happen because it takes far more technical know how, and said cheaters are less likely to want to have to shell out $200+ for a new console (if they're caught and perma banned, versus say $50ish for a new game copy for PC).
