Greetings,
Ubisoft / Massive and community alike.
Some things that need to be addressed as some people have already given up playing this game.
I'm about to be one of them. Sad really as this game has a lot of potential that needs to be utilized.
Please address the following issues first:
1. Lock down your client - the rampant ability for people to modify the client side files and cause havoc for other players utilizing simple to get cheat engines is tragic. Lock it down.
2. Quit being soft on rampant cheaters / exploiters - temporary bans are no more effective as a slap on someones wrist. Ban the accounts permanently from the game. If they continue to do it - ban them from your service. This is within your rights as a business to do so and these people who commit these acts know what they're doing and until there are some real consequences they'll continue to do so.
3. I've read threads from the Ubisoft personnel that there are people working on the exploits / bug fixes. This is great - when you actually do patch something give us a change log - that way we can test to see because if it doesn't work we can then let you know.
4. Setup a test realm. I'd be willing to test fixes for games. I've done it for a variety of companies through closed / open betas and provided feedback reports that are easy to read and well documented.
5. We know content is coming and that's fine, but fix what you have before rolling out more.
6. PVP - needs to be looked at.
I think thats some of the major issues. If someone from Ubi / Massive wants to take me seriously and take me up on the offer for testing stuff, by all means do so.
Otherwise, look forward to seeing what will happen.
There was a changelog for 1.1
None since then.
Am i mistaken ?

The change logs haven't had big fancy pages since then, but you can find them here on the forums:Originally Posted by milonz42 Go to original post

They've fixed quite a few of the most game breaking glitches, now hopefully the focus is on hackers. I wish it would had been the other way around in terms of priority, the PC player base wouldn't be in as bad of shape as it is.
It's not a matter of just locking a folder or two.Originally Posted by ChinatownHustla Go to original post
That's not how cheat engine functions. Stuff that the game uses is stored on RAM. Cheat Engine allows you to view whats loaded in memory and change those things.
I'm aware of how a cheat engine works.
However, you can stop them from doing that.
It's good to see they published an official post that they are coming down harder on the issues and are working on fixing them.
My guess is they'll be in the 1.2 patch to be honest and the patch will hopefully be massive. Let's just hope they do more testing on it before releasing it.
