I like the idea of putting more points to same skill. Well it sort of is like that as you can become Master/Grandmaster ... but if this was also applied to perks, that would indeed be interesting. Perhaps if skill path was longer than just 3 levels and perks were linked into a tech tree with each other ... well as was in H5 after all, but with more customisation and depth (more perk levels and more perks per level). heroes 7 needs a strong magic-resistance ability!!! Part of this ability should be: - effects which lows up the duration of a spell, -effects which increase the magic price of a spell, - the chance of a failure by a spell, reducing the effective damage of spells!!!
A second ability which make sense in my opinion is a "scare" skill: We need something, what could counteract the "Righteousness" and "Leadership" ability...
I would be glad, if something would happen in this direction!
And since I'm in process: The "luck" system should be reworked as well: We need as well "misfortune". A unit with "misfortune" can't reach 100% damage, rather 50 - 75%. Also it should influence the magic-system: For example in failure of a spell or reducing of the damage of a spell... A combination with a "magic-resistance ability" should be possible...

Only the "ranger" (sylvan) has access to this ability. A chance of 50% failure of a spell is also a very high probability (o.k. it's a grandmaster ability but ...).
All in all: I insist: We need a magic-resistance ability in the game...
