So I'm not the only one to notice this after the "fix" this morning. Let me know if you guys find a post or video saying it's still broken please

best way to test is make 2 piece of gear one with protect and one without. make sure they both have the same stats other then the protect. go to a sniper and have him shoot you with full health with one piece on then fill your health and put the other piece on. I would bet it is still broken as is the same with the reckless talent. they don't know how to fix these problems unfortunately.

That is very sad if they don't know how to fix these problems. It should be a simple fix. either you mitigate dmg or you increase dmg taken.

    It should be changing a "+" to a "-"

    Maybe a flag.

This is so lame if it's not fixed.

Became a joke after EQ1. Once they added a function to the game where you can order a pizza through the game, you know it's hit rock bottom.

Lol! Did you actually READ any of the responses in this thread, or are you just going by number of replies?

Maybe I missed it but, so far, not a single person in this thread has stated that they've noticed ANYTHING broken so yeah (so far at least), apparently you ARE the only one.

In seriousness though, without a combat log, it's really difficult to tell if anything is working or not, which is one of the big flaws of the game. A Min/Max game where you can't really tell if any piece of gear is really better or worse is a big problem.

Particularly when the only stat the game DPS isn't actually accurate either. (See skillupz videos on the subject).
Considering the topic is pretty much about EQ now, here's something to make ya jelly

I own the EverQuest 2 Developer Sword of the Lead Lore Designer of the series. Signed and all

WoW still has the best community that is still alive and kicking into the future. I guess that's what happens when the lead Dev leaves EQ and walks across the street to blizzard.
