Protection from Elites actually fixed or still broken??

I know it was in the patch notes about it being fixed but to me it still seems broken. I feel like I'm still taking more damage from them than when it properly worked. Anyone else notice this or is it just me?

    My Jboots seems slower too.

In seriousness though, without a combat log, it's really difficult to tell if anything is working or not, which is one of the big flaws of the game. A Min/Max game where you can't really tell if any piece of gear is really better or worse is a big problem.

Particularly when the only stat the game DPS isn't actually accurate either. (See skillupz videos on the subject).

I've been wondering why there isn't a combat log and why we don't have an option to view the dmg we take. My conspiracy theory is that it was done purposefully to make it more difficult for players to find defects such as the protection from elites defect.

You know, I'd like to know this as well. I've been running around with around +25 or so protection from elites, not knowing it was actually causing me more damage. I would love to see what that's like if it was working as intended.

I assume it's because why would you have a log on a console, and clearly the PC version is an afterthought.

True, but that still wouldn't explain why there isn't pop up dmg over our heads like in every other game.

I do miss the feeling of first starting out in the commonlands tho. Was pretty epic.
