First of all, sorry that this is not a thread about "Cheats & Hacks", they're already working on it, so please stop spamming the salt everywhere. So lets get into the real reason that I want to talk about. It's about the Sentry Incursion special gear. I know that the special perk called "Stalker" has made in thought of primarily for Marksman Rifle players, but nobody is using it as intended. You land 3 headshots and get instantly a 45% damage buff against the target, which isn't hard to get when you're using a SMG or an Assault Rifle. The problem is, many players in the Dark Zone are using this overpowered thing with everything else than Marksman Rifles. The Stalker perk has to be a Marksman Rifle only thing, because the damage increase is way too high and way too easy to get. There are way too many players running it in the Dark Zone currently.
Making a gear set talent viable ONLY for the strongest weapon (Marksman Rifle) in the game? Nooooppppeee. It doesn't even work as intended with SMG's and AR's, as it doesn't take 3 bullets but sometimes more and other times you can hit them with 5 headshots and the stalker icon appears 10 seconds later. I've really tried this, and sometimes Stalker wont even register until the person is dead. Nice try but no, just no.Originally Posted by Kotwurschd Go to original post
As it stands BOTH Nomad and Tactician's Authority need to be changed as they are just utterly useless when compared to Sentry or Striker.
Tacticians is not useless, its just that skill power is capped to low, but tacticians means you can have more health and firearms, while still having max skill power.Originally Posted by Ex-SOLDIER Go to original post
I believe 4-piece talent from Sentry's Call set is very powerful. It was my choice from the first moment set bonuses were revealed. I also believe it was intended to be Marksman effect that would reward accuracy at long distance.
My suggestion to tame the bonus without making drastic changes to it to only apply it if shots were made from distance longer than 25 (this number is debatable) distance. This limitation would ensure that the bonus is used by Marksman and more importantly it would prevent SMG users to benefit from it when they are applying the debuff while engaging at short distance. SMGs would still benefit from the bonus if someone else applies it to target, just SMGs would not be effective at applying it.
