I'll start.
Everyone I'm sure has experienced this.
Mid fight you need to pop a heal or a med kit and those precious seconds have gotten you killed while in the animation.
Unfortunately you will need a scuff or elite controller to pull this off.
If you map your heal and med kits to paddles on the elite controller you can heal yourself while you are still shooting.
No animation involved.
Just hit a med kit or heal and watch your health go up while you're still attacking your enemy.
By far my favorite use of the paddles in this game.
Beware. People will message you calling you a cheater.
I don't know anything about the PS unfortunately.Originally Posted by NORTHBOERN1 Go to original post
Yes sir. You also have to other paddles to assign to whatever you want . I don't use the bottom 2 though. I squeeze too hard and constantly activate stuff.Originally Posted by ChaosFinalForm Go to original post
Unfortunately if you're on PC there's nothing to talk about but the vast amount of hackers... It was an issue since day one and has just grown to an extreme issue now, the game is completely unplayable and even Hamish got killed by a guy speed hacking and using rpm live on his twitch stream. And no, this isn't a console vs pc issue. It's something that should have never happened, but basically the devs thought that a client trusted network model would be a great idea on pc... which obviously should never happen. It's not a bad model for consoles but on pc it's just plain stupid. The server literally accepts anything the client sends it and with that comes teleportation, rpm, unlimited ammo, speed hacks, etc, etc... Oh yea, we also never got an anti-cheat like they told us we would. Not trying to be negative but there's a reason hacking is the biggest topic right now, and it's because it's ruined the pc version. Yes all pc games will have cheaters, but most devs actually try to make it difficult for people to cheat by not trusting the clients information as well as having an actual anti-cheat that actively bans.
I loved the game, after the beta I was having withdraws waiting for launch, now however I really wish I could just get a partial refund. It's sad but right now nothing can be done to fix the game without recoding the netcode and base game which I honestly don't see happening. If 10% of the PC players are still here for the 1st DLC drop then i'll be seriously surprised.
R.I.P. $100 ~ You will be missed
As for tips:
* Make sure to have the Triage talent when playing with a group, when you use a self heal and your team runs in and out of it you will gain 15% of your skill cooldowns.
* Also be sure to have the Combat Medic talent on, especially when you're playing solo. It counts you as a group member and therefor it gives you 40% more healing when you use a medkit.

To continue with the healing thing, Medkits proc faster than the First Aid skill. If you're low health always Medkit first, First Aid after. Medkit is almost instant.
Don't stand still when you're shooting. It might look like you're not moving much (because you're not), but it's enough. Peoples 250K DPS doesn't mean much if they're not hitting shots.
If you're outnumbered and running, funnel them down a hallway, turn around and throw an incidinary grenade. Best way to slow people down, as they'll either have to stop and wait, or run through it and set themselves on fire. Win/win. Unless you come across someone who has extremely high resistance. Unlucky.
If you're outnumbered and get hit with a Shock Turret, put the controller down and look away from the TV. You are already dead. Watching such a cheap death may cause a person to react in the most extreme ways, I.E throwing their TV out of the window.
