Going Rogue - What's the point?

So I recently hit level 80 (now 79) and I accidentally shot someone while fighting another Rogue and that caused a group of people to start hunting me! So I kept putting them down, and as I would put them down the number would increase until a yellow circle appeared around the number and then a MANHUNT after me occurred - I put several guys down, but then I was put down taking me from level 80 to 79. Okay, I get it.. if you get caught up in a manhunt then it's your fault and you need to realize there is no way to make it through the manhunt unharmed - you are going to lose DZ EXP because of the games horrible Rogue mechanics.

Why do you need to tell the entire server where I am if I am a rogue? There is no where to hide! This takes away so much fun in my opinion. If I am rogue I want to feel like I can hide somewhere until the status clears. It's impossible to do with the current mechanics. If a group of Rogues get caught up in a manhunt then sure.. show the entire server where they are - but reduce the amount of penalty - it's ridiculous.. secondly, do not tell the server where the rogues are unless a manhunt is under way. That's where this game fails miserably - you tell us where every rogue is right away - and that makes it impossible to be a Rogue... sure you can get a way with a few kills if you got a 3-4 group with talented players - but you can't without it.

It's stupid. I love this game - I'm dying for more content.. I am still trying to hit 99 - but comon fix this.. Once I hit 99 I feel like I am going to grow bored of losing exp and being hunted by the entire server every time I go rogue, or accidentally go rogue.

    meh

...but if you had survived that manhunt, you would have gained a ton of experience.

So you want to go rogue but have no consequences for your actions?

You are using shade tech/isac as a second wave Division Agent.

When you go Rogue that shade tech and isac are what lets other "good" Agents know you have turned to the dark side.

That's exactly how it is supposed to work.... Exactly.

How do you survive a manhunt by yourself with 15 guys chasing you down from every location on the map? You don't, but my problem isn't that. It's that even going Rogue on one kill forces you into a manhunt most of the time.

Not at all - I went Rogue on accident.. and it turned into a manhunt. It shouldn't have because I should have been able to hide without the server telling them where I was. I can understand the server exposing manhunt rogues - but why expose me if I am not on a manhunt? let me hide for christ sakes - it's dumb.

If you kill someone why shouldnt they have the chance to come back and kill you? Complaining because you cant hide while youre rogue is just ridiculous. Also you went rogue on accident then it turned into a manhunt? You need to kill 5 people for a manhunt, so id say you had plenty of time to just run away.

if you go rogue you got a chance to get 3 he (which could be 1 or more set items) from people you killed.
rogue has the upper hand in this game now.
3 high end (which can be 1 up to 3 set items if the person you kill carry it)
    low penalty
    high xp
    lots of keys
    lots of dz funds
and if you survive the rogue timer
    more xp
    more dz funds

and remember, killing player will always yield a good items, because player usually pick and choose the items they want to extract, they won't extract performance mod. no way, they won't pick them up. they will pick good weapon, good gear, good set items. so by killing them you're guaranteed to get a good drop

so yup... being a rogue is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo muuuuuuuuchhhhhhhhhhh profitable in this game. there's no reason not to go rogue.

I look at this way, going rogue is to initiate dynamic PvP. To me it's where I have the most fun - I want people to come after me; even if I die. And for the one(s) who kills me - I'm coming back looking for you!
