So you (Ubisoft) actually pulled it off. You spent more money on PR (advertising and hype) than you did actually putting work into the game. You promised us anti-cheat at launch and it is still not in the game nor can it (from many experts in the field) be implemented into the PC version due to its programming architecture. Yet you were still happy to take our money and offer no refunds let alone have the decency to feign interest in the communities outrage/suggestions.
Proof we were sold a faulty product. In fact that article is the only reason I didn't cancel my pre-order.

In summation, Congrats Ubisoft for getting away with 300+ million dollars worth of theft. Next time hire your PR team to produce the game, they seemingly have a work ethic.
I don't understand PC players. You guys knew going in that the game could be easily manipulated. If they didn't do anything to fix it inbetween beta's it was because they couldn't.
This is why I will always prefer console gaming. You guys can keep your true to life graphics and I will keep my relatively hack free gaming experience lol
Nope, I am legitimately impressed with Ubisoft. They are the Bernie Madeoff of the gaming industry.Originally Posted by SlappyMcPete Go to original post

Not saying everybody who can build a PC can hack (I perform the former but not the latter) just that those who are tech savvy are more likely to pull it off.
Anti-cheating shouldn't be something that's difficult to do realistically, somebody could easily write code to automatically detect whether a player's position is somewhere they ought to be or not, or whether the damage they're doing is beyond all realms of possibility. Write a bot to do this, much like how a search engine works to flag these anomalies and have one guy working through them and banning people who have cheated beyond all reasonable doubt.
