    Rogue Timer Fix Suggestion

Please change the way the rogue timer is currently set up. Currently, if you become rogue, you are chased by the whole map and have no option but to run for your life and hope to stay away from people until the timer is up. With the current set up, you don't really have an option to fight back without going up in dz rogue levels and increasing your punishment if you die from defending yourself against the whole map. I dont mind having to fight back against rogue hunters, I actually find it fun when I am prepared. This becomes a nuisance when you are playing with randoms and someone decides to go rogue and the whole team goes rogue, then you have no choice but to fight back until your rogue status is higher, increasing the amount of xp and funds you lose. Please take into consideration the following:

    1. Allow for the timer to continue to run while you are engaged in combat, but include a 5 second buffer period between the time that someone is shooting you while you are rogue and when your rogue status expires.

    2. Only allow your rogue level to increase if you initiate combat with another player. If another player who is not rogue engages you and you kill them, the rogue level should not increase.

    3. Rogue players should not be allowed to extract while rogue. This will stop people from being able to just kill users trying to extract and just instantly put their items on the extraction rope. A division extraction helicopter would realistically be against assisting rogues in this matter anyway.

Heard of the term "once you go black......"?

    anyway...

The timers are fine as they are.
You actively chose to go rogue/manhunt.
Nobody forced you. So deal with it.

    LOL@Nobody forced you.

You clearly don't spend much time in the DZ. I can easily force people to go rouge. Rogue baiting is one of the most prevalent things in the game.

My ONLY problem with the rogue timer is that fact that NPC's can stop the clock - ****'s annoying.

ive spent up to level 70+ in the DZ.
was "forced" to go rogue 1 time only when i was LVL 19 (player level) cause someone jumped in front of my sniper.

if youre tarded enough to be baited or forced to go rogue you suck ball sack.

leave the timers as they are. and yes remove the AI possibility to stop the timer.

rogue timer is fine the way it is (probably one of the few things about the current rogue mechanic that is fine) . if you're random group goes rogue, leave the group and kill them (or at least run away).

Im talking about when you join up with 3 randoms and one of the kids decides to go rogue without letting anyone know. This forces the whole team to go rogue and then at this point you can either try and run for 80 seconds or fight back...which eventually results in you going into manhunt status unwillingly. This has happened only a couple times to me as well, but its still, what I see, as a flaw.

This just results in you hitting manhunt status lol, and then reiterates my point above.

I think it would be interesting if the timer would stop if you started to sprint, and speed up if you were to stand still. I think it would be a great change to the ways rogues play. My favorite part about being a rogue is setting up a defensive line somewhere and waiting for players to come and get me. I find it very annoying though when a team goes rogue and then just sprints to DZ6 without stopping. The main problem i see people having with rogues is that they go rogue then run away, i believe this would do something to stop that certain annoying aspect of rogues and make for some interesting battles.
