There might be more in the patch or they might break even more, we will see.Originally Posted by orthow Go to original post
I don't think people understand how big of a change recklessness will have on a wide majority of the population.
Players who choose to still use it will see a 20% damage increase to them. Since it's current form negates 10%, with the fix it takes that 10% away and then the proper code makes one takes 10% more damage.
Even players who move on from Recklessness(which I'd say everyone will) will still notice a large damage intake 10% more damage from everywhere. Great change, and should hopefully move towards the continued work to improve the DZ/game in general.
You clearly don't spend ANY time in the DZ. My buddy and I, whom I roll with daily, have over 1300+ rogue kills (not counting the ones that get stolen) we clearly spend all our time there.Originally Posted by DaveWindaow7 Go to original post
Here's why you are wrong. It will do NOTHING to improve the DZ or game in general. I can Literally kill you in 6 bullets. Yes, 6 bullets. When I hit humans I crit with my smg for over 12k a shot. Now you want these same players to have 10% less defence? Now i'm going to kill people in 5 shots. Yeah, that really improves the game play - said no one ever.
Problem is with the new update they made us all glass cannons. Huge DPS with zero consideration to upping our damage mitigation or health. Before and after the update. Before I needed an M44 with a crit and pulse to get lucky and one shot humans in the DZ. Now I can accomplish the same task with an M1A and not needing a pulse.
Taking away even more armor for the players is such a bad move. If anything remove the 13% increased damage but leave the armor buff.
It's okay watch on thursday when the flood of posts come in complaining about how easy players are now killing them in the DZ. But hey what do I know, it's not like I have ever gotten complaints from the thousands of players I have killed in this game LOL
Now, everyone will be running overheal chest with booster shot. Which is all you need for PK'ing. Reckless really only helped you in PVE circumstances as you can easily reproduce the effects with an overheal chest and booster shot right before engaging players.
Got to say I like the fact that they're fixing small bugs and fixing them quickly. To all those who are questioning why they aren't fixing the bigger issues, I'm sure your answer lies in the size of the team at Massive Entertainment. Do you think it takes the entire team of coders to fix these bugs? Probably not. They'll have a couple of guys working on the small stuff and everybody else working on the bigger issues. They're doing it right if this is the case, which it most likely is given that Ubisoft will still want your money in the future.
3% of the damage dealt by your skills is returned to you as healing.Originally Posted by alexandercuna Go to original post

I see you have 530 rogue kills vs my 543 (both rank 99 dz)
Rogues kills an hour 1.1(you) 1.7(me)
Edit: Sure you have 7 more days of gameplay than me, but well gameplay time doesn't always dictate knowledge or skill....given the fact I have 5000 more kills than you....on top of the difference of more rogue kills to boot.
Pretty sure I'm rather experienced and know what I am talking about. I'd point out to how you're wrong and overreacting to the crutch of Recklesness being removed, but come Thursday I will enjoy it so very much being removed.
