It's not Massive's fault the world is full of a-holes, maybe if we taught the younger generations about how ugly they have become on the inside instead of letting them sit in their rooms because now their happy/ quiet.. the world.. and this game wouldn't be in such a bad shape.
    man, you are so right!

WTF? What I understand from your post is: UBI created game for other platforms then sold it on PC, and people are *******s that it is broken on PC. Cool. XXI century, you are selling **** and blaming users that you are selling ****.

This cheating problems is killing game so fast sure, and it has also escalated to mass media mainstream, so, I have a single question to UBISOFT, WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?, they HAVE to give us an answer, if you cannot do nothing due to how the game has been constructed (tecnhically) then tell us that, but for god sake, do a public statement about this situation, your loyal customers and the ones that love this game deserve this RIGHT?

The problem will never go away. They needed to take a vigilant stance from the beginning and put all checks in place, we were promised this on these very forums during th ebeta, but they didnt deliver.
So I understand these cheating problems were detected during Beta and they have done NOTHING since then? (sorry for my bad english, dont live in the US)

    That is correct.

Should this happen, it would be a huge irony. The one part of this game that seem's to be Ubisoft's pride & joy becoming the conduit for the destruction of the game.

you sure about that? there aren't that many trusted client console games on the consoles that aren't riddled with the same problems.

while you can't access the files directly on a console it's ridiculously straightforward to connect your xb1/ps4 to the internet through a pc and then run software on the pc to manipulate the data going through it...

it takes a slightly higher level of knowledge than just downloading some hack someone else has written but it's why people also see "hackers" on the consoles. it's not so difficult to grab the packet of information that says your bullet did 10,000 damage and modify it so now that bullet did 100,000 or a million damage...

it's much the same technology as packet sniffers can grab your passwords and stuff like that. or edit packets of data to redirect your web traffic to malisous sources..

admittedly it's a bit more complex than simply paying to download some hack / cheat program someguy made and running it, which in turn makes it less of a widespread problem.

generally even console games never trust the client...
