This is going to be a pretty bold statement on this forum but, honestly, I still really like playing The Division. I do so for at least a couple hours every night.
I get that there are problems-and the PC version is probably a lost cause. PC players should riot. Console versions however are not a, "broken mess", as I hear a lot of people calling it. Yes it has glitches, yes it has bugs, and needs it needs patching. No, it is not "broken".
My only major complaints are:
-weapon balance: SMGs don't need a nerf (other than range maybe), the others need a buff
-The incursion difficulty is crap. If it is only intended for the top 10% of the player base then they got it right. But other games have made that mistake. This game needs it's average players, now more than ever.
-The DZ. Personally I don't think it is that bad, but at this point it is probably driving more players away so it's doing more harm than good in it's current state.
As for glitchers? I don't care. Honestly I don't give a damn how someone got their gear. I've seen the Youtube videos, if you want to shoot through a blank wall for 30 minutes then knock yourself out. If you find that fun then I envy how easily entertained you are.![]()
Would you like some cheese with that whiiiiine?Originally Posted by Arsenic_Touch Go to original post

It is very much broken. That is factual and cannot be argued.Originally Posted by swirl1297 Go to original post
The difference is you have a higher tolerance than some others in dealing with the broken mechanics, which is cool, but that doesn't mean it's acceptable in any way, shape or form for the to the majority of players who would prefer playing a less "broken" game.
" I've seen the Youtube videos, if you want to shoot through a blank wall for 30 minutes then knock yourself out. If you find that fun then I envy how easily entertained you are."
And do you think it's more fun to play the crap incursion (as you call it, I might add)?
I still have fun playing with friends (though I find more and more are playing Destiny or Dark Soul 3, leaving me less people to group with), but I don't find the state of this game is acceptable in its current form. With Homefront. Overwatch and the Fallout 4 expansion set to drop soon, you may find yourself playing alone....
It is a good game. There are always people higher leveled than me so I am not to worried about it. I don't play the DZ very much but am on a console so I don't see the hackers. I just see the try hards that are way over powered. Not because of the gun, but because of their stats and gear pieces. I started my 3rd agent to level up with a friend that just started playing. I don't have to be the biggest baddest player to enjoy the game. I can kill level 32 Bosses and I can run like hell from rogues and have them chase me all of the map. Guess some people find that fun.

Does that mean before this they didn't feel it was necessary to be in line with industry standards? And how do we know that they even capable of dealing with it? Please refer to their statement from January:
"We are aware of the cheating issues in the closed beta on PC," the developer said in The Division's forums. "The team is fully committed to providing solutions against this and a system will be in place to ensure a fair experience for players when the game is released on March 8."
Perhaps they really are capable, but simply didn't mean it last time, but this time they really mean it....
That's my worry. The game is fun, but without anyone to play with, it's very dull. They may need to make a "normal" mode incursion to allow casuals to actually complete the mission with a matchmaking group. As it sits, a matchmaking group can barely get past wave 4, and most that I've come across don't get that far. BTW, PEOPLE BUY MICS if or use that SH*TTY one that comes with the PS4 atleast if you try to do the incursion. It's all about communication, and if you're not trying, you're going to fail.Originally Posted by Ezilyamuz3d Go to original post

You're right to point that out. I did say that. I am unhappy with the difficulty level of the incursion because I feel it is beyond what it should be for the average player. I'd like to see it fixed so players don't feel that the glitch is their only option to obtain gear sets.Originally Posted by Ezilyamuz3d Go to original post
