    Far Cry 4

    I bought far cry 4 through steam, but i bought far cry 4 season pass through the uplay and when i want to play the valley or the yetis, it doesn't show me that i have season pass, although in campaign i got new missions with hurk, can anyone please help me fix this?

    it will not work that way

    Steam uses a totally different file setup then the stand alone Uplay version of Far Cry 4 uses

    for instance the game files locations as well as even save files go to a different folder

    save files go like this
    Uplay only version of Far Cry 4 uses
    C:\ program files X 86 \ ubisoft \ ubisoft game launcher \ savegames \ *series of letters and numbers folder varies from system to system*\ 420


    Steam + Uplay version of Far Cry 4 uses
    C:\ program files X 86 \ ubisoft \ ubisoft game launcher \ savegames \ *series of letters and numbers folder varies from system to system*\ 856

    Steam will install the game in your steam folder . steam is the one responsible for providing all your updates ..not Uplay

    if you buy your base game on Steam you MUST buy the season Pass or any and all DLC ON STEAM for it to work

    if you go on the Steam store site it even mentions that you MUST own the base far cry 4 game on steam to use the steam version of the season pass or any DLC

    and if you look on the Origin store it also has a warning that the Uplay only version that Origin sells will not work with the STEAM version of the Base Far Cry 4 game

    you'll need to contact Ubisoft Support and see if you can apply for a refund .. but i do think on the Uplay shop website it says they offer NO REFUNDS on digital Keys
    so you may be out of luck ..and out your cash ..contact Support DIRECTLY is all you can do and see what your options are

    open a support ticket with Ubisoft Support at https://support.ubi.com by clicking on My Questions in the upper left corner of that page.


    if they do not answer your ticket ...after a few days (support tickets can take up to 48 hrs to get a response)


    try to contact them via social media to see if they can update your ticket (US only)
