Well, 1.1 has been a little less than stellar for me, a LFG junky who was absolutely ill-prepared for the 1st four days of BPs and have been playing catch-up in the DZ and the such. I find Falcon Lost is dull for my playstyle, and frankly enjoyed 1.0 more than 1.1. BUT, the catch, is that I think this game is fun and will shine if a few things are ironed out. Now, I do play on Xbox, so the whole hacking thing is a non-issue for me, so of course YMMV.
With this in mind, I am playing at a nice pace, just having fun, and just getting my list of mats and DZ creds as high as possible for 1.2, when I do hope to be able to get good BPs ASAP and hopefully the next incursion will be fun, specially for loners in LFG like me. We know they'll introduce new DZ areas, which is great as DZ 5-6 are a slaughterhouse for those poor NPCs these days, and there should be a new incursion coming out. Here's hoping there will be a new instance too, daily CM is just a bit dull with the few possibilities there are at present. Fingers crossed.
I'm actually very envious of you guys on console, not having to deal with the hackers on your side. Things on PC would be so much different if the worst we had to worry about was someone using the latest glitch. I'm happy for you for not having problems in game, I had really high hopes for this game and now I haven't logged in in over 2 weeks and I'm waiting for a reply to my refund request.
Power to the players on console! Keep up the fight.

They need to fix every single exploit in the game before 1.2 if they like to have any chance of success with 1.2. Also they need to address the hacking problem and reduce hackers with at least 80% too. If that does not happen before 1.2 people that comes back for 1.2 will quit playing the game after 3 days no matter what the content is in patch 1.2.

the first incursion was a blast in the wrong direction.. it was amazingly underwhelming..
who ever came with the idea of 15 waves without checkpoint in a small room under barrage bombardment of a static tank in the far corner of the map would be a good idea needs to grab a book about game design..
the "challenge mode" of that incursion is even worse..ore tankier enemies that can one shot you while you have to grind them down? na dont think so.
Dear Lord in the name of all that is righteous and effing Holy.......please turn Weapon Skins into vanity items and place them in your wardrobe.
Its tragic that I had to start levelling multiple alts just to store weapon skins.
FYI Hamish or whatever his name is made a statement that this would be happening but it was absent in the last patch.
I beg of you please make this happen
I guess I am not the only one doing this, after allOriginally Posted by Jonnybiohazard Go to original post
Yeah, skins should be vanity items.
There should also be another storage room in that crate - for things you want to keep, but not necessarily share with your other characters.
That said - IMO - the prime focus should be fixing a few core issues to reduce exploiting.
- The exploitable stacking bugs that are achieved by rapidly and repeatedly changing weapons, gear, abilities or talents NEEDS to be fixed.
(affects attack power, defense, ammo, cash loot, etc.)
- The mobile cover shield exploits that can glitch you through walls, fences, windows and doors NEEDS to be fixed.
This will have a positive effect on all platforms.
As for client side hacking - as mentioned in a different post - if they didn't factor that into the core design - reducing PC hacks will be a challenge.
