Itīs hard to get ones point across when itīs more yelling and profanity than constructive critisism or feedback. If my post is read by just one at Ubisoft, thatīs all i can hope for at least, but i will be OK with it.
Now, as for the latest bandage on the wounds with 150 PCīs. I thought iīd take mine and stash it, but i will not actually. It will either stay put in the box it came in, or be removed by a dev at some point, but it will not be used. The reason is that i did not come to The Division for gear or stats. Phoenix coins will not let me remove the people destroying the game. There is no vendor for that.
I came to pick this game because of this
Tom Clancy's The Division is an open-world RPG experience. Play in a persistent and dynamic world with tactical decisions, RPG action, trading and more.
To be honest, thatīs not present at all.
This game is controlled, decided and shaped by people that does not even care. By players that think they run people away by anger or defeat, only to fail miserably in seeing the truth in why people leave. They sit and laugh while they cheat, hack, exploit etc and so on, and the inability to remove them in time is by far the worst i have seen in a game for as long as i can remember. If anything happens, it happens WAY to slow.
Compare this to an emergency call to 911, when you have been shot. You expect an ambulance at full speed, not a one legged man on a skateboard without a map.
What was promised to us where just videos, intriguing posts and fancy words in social media. It got me hooked and it got me interested. The truth is so far away that itīs like another game entierly, and now i have lost basically all interest.
I will not play of my own choosing. A few of the reasons are
1: Itīs to much silk gloves and too long a leash towards the people that causes trouble. You get the feeling the Developers are more afraid of a little bad press caused by the very people cheating and abusing the game rather than owning up to it, brush them away even though they will whine and scream at them and actually giving the rule abiding players the game they bought.
2: There is little to no moderation on the forums where people act like animals against each other. Looking around, itīs no better than it it in the Dark Zones. The forum security and proper manners exist in a line of text, nothing more.
3: Excuses for fixed hacks, glitches and bugs are meassured in items or currency.
This is my big concern.
Why is it that people expect a fancy gun-skin, a bag of coins or some flashy jacket etc will fix everything? The fix is in cutting away the people that do not care at all. I thank you for the offer, but i would not accept this type of offering even if it was 100 000 PCīs, full end game gear and every single weapon known to man. You can keep it. Items are to be earned, not given as charity or some cheap cover up. By doing that, i loose all respect for it and itīs purpose. You earn it, full stop.
An offering that would interest me, is getting the game back to what was promised and advertised.
In case anyone at UBISOFT reads this, i offer my thanks for the first few days of experience. It was fun, and interesting. I also thank you for taking the time to read this.
Best regards

Will it was far from perfect pre 1.1 it at least was enjoyable, doing your dailies and stepping into the the DZ for a few hours a day teaming up with strangers and maybe get some decent loot out of it.
Nowadays the only thing left is the ridiculous repetitive daily missions, which you can literally solo anyway, and incursion once a week requiring some awful luck to even get started.
I personally didn't set a foot into the DZ for one week straight since i simply value my free time to much to see it wasted on avoiding hackers and equipped beyond-repair exploiters.
I am not even pissed about the day-1 bugs still present today, like missions not starting or stats not probably updating but the fact that they seem to be more concerned about the feels of the Cheaters and Exploiters alike than the legit playerbase is like showing the middle finger right into each users face actually trying to play the game as intended.
Whoever is in charge at Massive for this kind of mismanagement on a project of this scale should be locked in a room with 10+ Shotgun goons for one hour straight.
The first few days was really fun. People where playing it, and they where players. Now, itīs a sad amount of "players" just in it for the sole purpose of making you upset and pushing thing to the extreme. The inability to remove someone that does not even cover their tracks is whatīs really interesting.Originally Posted by defkev_GER Go to original post
Why the massive tip-toe dance around such people that ruins a product? You just come off as afraid tbh. Itīs disrespectful to the players that want to play what they bought, and itīs even more disrespectful that the masses of abusers are left in, beside rule abiding players and they are still treated as such. I donīt know really. A huge portion of respect and trust is gone.
Also, as an addition to these issues, are the chat.
There is little to no reason at all that it is abused as it it, and nothing happens. If you create a chat, you must know it will be used. There are channels, you can click and de-click etc and you can use them as you wish. But...where is the moderation of it? No logs, no overview, no control. People are posting in the CHAT!!!... that they sell cheats and exploits! Seriously... use the logs and see where that ILILILiliiiLILILIIL1111III name came from in the first place and delete the account. How hard can it be? I am actually asking!
