    Best mods for AUG?

    There is a new Aug in the base vendor for 800+ Phoenix credits. I have enough to spare and thinking about buying it.
    Always played with an assault rifle though so I don't have much experience with the SMGs.
    What do you guys recommend for mods on this particulair weapon?

    Extended mag with crit chance, grip is prefference, stability muzzle with crit damage. Headshot damage sights with crit chance.

    You might want to swap some Critchance versus Critdamage depending on your stats. >50% Critchance means nothing if you only have +30% Critdamage. It really depends on your overall build.

    One thing to consider is the Weapon Damage increase over CHC on the magazine. The straight up damage bonus can increase DPS more than CHC.

    DPS is useless because it`s so inflated by unnecessary stats.

    A prolonged burst but with Critdamage or Critchance is in my opinion superior to a higher RoF. You may burst out harder but you will miss more shots especially when you are experiencing server lag. If half of your bullets land in an already dead body, your faster burst is already negated.

    So I would recommend a higher damage output and sacrifice the faster burst for that even though the dps-meter is showing something different.

    Currently running that for my Vector, with a small difference that mag has crit dmg and muzzle has crit chance. Overall, sitting on 48% crit chance and 209% crit dmg, which works pretty well.

    Exactly, Accuracy bumping up your DPS is the biggest lie there is.

    I'm glad at least some people understand that DPS can be a misrepresentation of how good your weapon actually is. I've had conversations with DPS crazy friends about the exact thing you guys brought up in terms of accuracy boosting DPS, when most of the time it's much better to go with other attributes that don't necessarily give a huge boost to DPS

    Extended Mag with Crit Chance, grip is preference but I think you'll like stability + initial bullet stability, stability muzzle with crit chance, scope ideally ( if you can find one ) 12/15x with Headshot damage and crit chance , but non optic with with same stats would work just fine as well.
