By us I mean people that actually play the game the way its meant to be played. I've spent well over a week doing nothing but grinding mobs in the dark zone to hit rank 75. Why? well last week they had the first wave m1a for sale in the dz 3 weapon vendor. This week was the vector. I just missed out on the mia but just managed to hit 75 yesterday and got the vector blueprint, grind done It was time to go build me some tasty vector goodness, only issue is with the changes to crafting i now have to spend another eternity grinding weapon drops in the dz to extract them just to break them down as it seem to be the only way of actually getting high end mats that doesn't take 4000 years. I saw something on these forums a couple of days ago about people glitching out the rewards vendor and trait glitching to get stuff meaning they have tons of mats, but it now means they're the only ones crafting its take so long to get mats. I know drops are now supposed to be the way to go but in that week of grinding i've only found 2 182 rated weapons in the dz, challenge missions seem to only drop me 163's and the time it takes to do an incursion only to cross my fingers and hope that I not only get a weapon I like, but one with a good roll that fits my play style is equally ridiculous. Am I the only one who feels like we're getting punished in the same ineffectual way you punish kids. Which is punish the ones who did nothing wrong to make the bad eggs feel bad? I currently have over 250hrs played on this game, and its really starting to feel futile. One of the few things i still have to strive for is perfecting the gear i have for the way i play, and at this rate its going to take another 250hrs.
