If you look at the current sets vs. the total available stats to modify, there is a problem.

Stats:
Weapon Type Damage: Follows the current Meta, if it ain't smg/marks then it is probably crap
Crit %: Caps already
Crit Damage %: Great
Accuracy: Useless at most ranges
Stability: Useless at most ranges
Optimal Range: % increases favor the longer range weapons which don't need it. Using this on an SMG is basically comedy.
Rate of Fire: 1100 already possible, get much high and you're just wasting ammo..
Reload Speed: meh
Ammo Capacity: High enough to never run out of ammo in PVE
Resists: Joke stat, everything is avoidable
Exp: DZ only
Scavenging: Joke stat
Armor Destruction: Great
Headshot Damage: Great
Elite Damage: Great
Heal on Kill: Pvp thing. The only time it's dangerous to spend long periods of time at low hp.

Everything marked with Great is either easy to get or already on the gear sets. What exactly will the next tier offer? Better set bonuses? This is a recipe for boredom. I'm not looking forward to a progression timeline where we increase the same stats every tier and ignore the same stats.


What are the next tier sets going to add anyway? either more of the Great stats (zzzz) or some of the weak stats so we end up equipping it because the three main stats cap at 750 instead of what you had in the slot already. The hinted at tank set they left out of 1.1 gives a % bonus to armor...
