I'm thinking the guitarist is Pepper Keenan. He uses Orange amps and wah on a lot of his solos. This solo reminds me a lot of Clean My Wounds, but it doesn't match the tabs.

It could be also be Down. This has a blues/southern rock vibe to it, which would fit either Corrosion of Conformity or Down. I'm pretty sure Clutch are also fans of Down. Stone the Crow would be awesome. Either band would be great.

Whoever it is, I welcome any band that Clutch likes.

Given what Dan said about no one getting the band yet, I know it's probably wrong, but since all this talk about CoC, I started getting all nostalgic and junk, so I looked up "Vote With a Bullet"...my favorite song way back when. The posted section actually doesn't seem too far off from that song. I don't have my guitar at hand, but just looking and listening, I can see the similarities.

True, but since that interview, COC did add Pepper Keenan who is an Orange endorser.

Oh cool I didn't realize, I was just going of the Orange website. As good as it would be to have corrosion of conformity I don't think it is, the solo sounds very clutch influenced, I know I've herd it before just can't put my finger on it.
