I'd love to say I have inside information and had to do some ninja like tactics to get this, but nope I don't have a cool story behind it. I simply googled Ubisoft For Honor and clicked the images tab. Scrolled through the images and found a few gems along the way

Found it eventually, it's from the GDC 2016 presentation on animation by Ubisoft employees.

It's pretty neat stuff if you're into it, but if not all you have to know is movement will be very realistic.

That's an even better find kudos my friend! Yeah seeing what goes into the game from the animation side and bring real life physics into a video game always peaked my interested. The great devs at Ubisoft Montreal look like they are putting together another amazing title for us and for one cannot wait for some knowledge to be dropped at E3. I do wonder if they put actual swords and armor on the RL models so we can get the full immersion of how heavyweight armors and lightweight armors feel. Plus with that feel actually demonstrate the pros and cons of whether to go heavy or light if those are options.

    Nice find

The control scheme is really good. When I played For Honor at Gamescom I honestly loved the feel of the controls and they were really responsive and accurate.

I know this isn't strictly animation, but there are a lot of behind the scenes stuff on Artstation. It's almost entirely assets used for the cinematic trailer, but it's still pretty cool, especially the weapon/armour models.

    Female Samurai

    Male Samurai

    Early Knight concept

    Viking (1, 2)

    WEAPONS!!! (1, 2)

    Samurai Mob

    More Knights (1, 2)

Random Samurai concept (guessing something to establish mood)
