so the cheaters win? and keep all that ill-gotten 240 gear?

Don't think you understand just how many people took advantage of this glitch. 80% would be a conservative estimate.

It would take probably a year or more to catch up to these cheating scumbags. As someone who completed this legit, I'm happy to lose my one piece of 240 gear if it meant we would all be semi even again.

It's absolutely unacceptable to leave things as is.... Wipe the 240 gears!!!!!!!

I never expected them to actually follow through on any threat or claim that they made. I still didn't take part (still have a GS of 183) but I knew I was going to fall behind to those that glitched it and Ubisoft had no way to correct the problem other then let the power creep jump up to offset it. That would require them to add the blueprints to some place other then the DZ however which they seem very reluctant to do since they are treating it as the "End Game" despite all the hate for it, the glitching, the hacking, the negative comments about it in reviews, etc.

I believe a good term for it is Omni-shambles.

I understand your point but punishing most players in this way will simply make them quit the game or at least cause an even bigger ****storm than the current one we have with the glitches and hackers. I'm pretty sure the devs learned from this and will not let this kind of exploit happen again in future updates.

I'm absolutely positive that the 1% of legit made 240 gear holders would be more than happy to give up their 1 piece of gear if it would restore balance. As I just said.......

    You sound like a cheater...

If you goto the store and try to steal their entire inventory of cheese, and get caught... You don't keep the cheese do you? No.. Punishment is when they take you to jail, not when they make you empty your pockets.... Scumbag trying to rationalize his total lack of values.

Cheaters all most always win. Welcome to the real world.
Also. This gear will be irrelevant as soon as some new content comes out. It won't take a year.

    It was nice though.
I had full sentry gear hours after the incursion launched well before the glitch was found.

I was a god in the dz. No one could touch me even though my highest gear piece was 214. Now everyone has full sets . Oh well.

Totally agree and I think 1% is being generous that completed it legit.

Dont worry, 99% of those GS240 items have junk stats and they might not be better then your GS163-181 ones.
It is sad that even with exploiting, 99% of the gear you get is total junk.

Oh well it's not that big of a deal really, they have beat the game and will log on in less numbers with nothing else to look forward to. And give up because of boredom

...or, ya know, until Broken Circle comes out. Get a clue. Oh, and, welcome to your first MMO. Enjoy the stay. Just don't be such a tit.
