Am I playing a different game to everyone else?

Firstly, let me start off by saying I play on Xbox One.

Now, all of these threads complaining about various parts of the game (not the hackers, I'm not going to include PC exclusive complaints in this thread) like people glitching through walls, lag causing people to take damage well after you've actually shot them, the DZ (most of the complaining seems to be people not liking the mechanics rather than actual problems) etc, and I've not seen one of these in my game whatsoever.

Don't get me wrong, there are the odd glitches, like a couple of times I've matchmade into hard mode missions to find the doors are closed at the start, but go out and find another game and it's all fine so a minor issue, and another time where I matchmade into Lexington hard mode whilst stood at the missions start and got teleported to the safehouse at the centre of the DZ (that was actually hilarious, and made for a fun running firefight through the DZ to get back to the missions start).

Having said that, I only play an hour or two per day (if I get time to get on) but I get the feeling that is the optimal play time for this game. Jump in, play a couple of missions and a bit of DZ for an hour or two, then log off. I'm still finding it fun even playing every day.

I do feel for PC gamers, as they definitely have a lot of issues to deal with, and I sincerely hope that Ubi/Massive get it sorted out, but a lot of those problems boil down to the people playing the game searching endlessly for ways to break it and twist it to what they want to do, which is PC gaming's biggest positive and negative simultaneously. The modding community exists for that very reason, but those same people that produce mods for other games could well be the people producing hacks for this.

TLDR I don't see where all the console complaints are coming from, but I feel really sorry for PC users

Kind of like PC being the best when you are plagued with viruses and hackings. When Mac users go about their lives enjoying things and productivity without hardly ever having any of that cross their minds (or having to be technically inclined to be safe/without worry).

I don't really see having higher resolution graphics, and spending 10 times on tricked out PCs, "better" when you have to deal with all the issues and cheating that makes the actual gaming experience unpleasant so frequently.

I'll take "not as pretty graphics", and a $400 console over that kind of headaches any day.

The problems you have stated has been ongoing since the start of release on all platforms and people just gave up starting new threads on it.

Sincerely, some of the glitches have been known about since beta and were reported. Ubisoft responded that they were aware of them, and that they would be taken care of before the game went live, but they never were. Now they're claiming there are no "hackers" - they're just players exploiting "glitches".

    LOL.

    Creative - check
    Hate PC - check
    IT Idiot - check

Know I won't convince you, but... I cut my programming teeth on PC. As far back as DOS days. Still maintain lots of legacy PC apps. Running Parallels (Windows XP or 7) on my MAC while simultaneously running OS X El Capitan with Mail, Pages, Numbers etc active, My compiler (on XP) will run faster than my tricked out super PC. Gathering dust.

Each to it's own, I'm perfectly happy that PC keeps the hackers and virus dudes occupied.
