Why they shouldn't punish people that glitched | Forums

As the topic states, i dont think anyone should be punished for using the glitch. Heck from what ive read, there are devs live streaming that are using the glitch them selves to gear up.

The devs wrote the code for this game. We bought the game as is and IMO, these glitches are part of the game we paid for. Its not our fault that they can not code correctly, or test the game properly. If we go back 15 years, game companies actually had to test the games themselves. There were no patch updates to fix glitches. They actually had to do some work. Why cant UBISOFT do some work and fix the glitches?

Yea i know im prob going to be hated on for this post but this is just my opinion.

First, you didn't buy anything tangible. What you did purchase was the "right to use" the software. They can revoke that right at any time.

Most games ban players who use exploits, even if just a 3 day ban. People who use hacks get account bans.

Every single person who exploited knew what they were doing, they knew it was an unfair advantage. I actually did the sticky bomb on the back of the APC once, and even then I didn't get the reward at the end.

Coding isn't that simple. People who code know what they are writing for and they are not writing to make exploits. The initial testers are testing following a QA check list. If that check list doesn't say, try to put mobile cover down and glitch through the wall, then they don't try it.

Do I think people who used exploits get some kind of punishment, yeah, but I don't know what that is. People who hack using ESP, AIMBOT, etc, should just get account bans. If they want to play, they can purchase another copy with a different account, and if they hack again, they get banned again.

That is my opinion of course.

The funny thing about those who are complaining about glitchers are guilty themselves even though they don't seem to notice yet they like to throw stones. How many of you were rocking the rehabilitated mask glitch????? Huh? How many of you right now are rocking the the vest that is bugged???? Huh? You know damn well they are broken and do not work the way they were intended hence giving you an advantage. Spare me with the high horse BS!

Lol, comparing bugged talents to wall-glitching? Just remove the vest talent = fixed, majority of player base didnt know they were bugged, but how can you defend mobile cover wall glitching?

Just remove portable cover= fixed. Bottom line you can call it whatever makes you feel right, bug,glitch whatever but it is an advantage that mostly everyone has or is taking advantage of. Reckless vest and the mask rehab. Hell you've got people double reviving! Using another vest that allows them to self revive. The list goes on and on! You could use that excuse of " well a lot of people didn't know the vest was glitched" maybe weeks back but definitely not now. GTFOH!

The problem is that by not punishing exploiters, you will effectively punish those of us who did not exploit, as the dark zone is a huge part of the game and will require us non exploiters to face off against exploiters.

The relative silence from developers makes me feel like me and the other "honest players" are being punished, for not glitching while can/could/should... Rather depressing thought, dont you think?

You do know that its a minority using the Forum and Reddit right, most people just play the game and are clueless to all of this and run around in that mask/vest not knowing. Start glitching thru stuff though then you know you are doing something wrong.

The only ones saying something like this are the ones who glitched, and now they are scared they will lose their ill gotten gains, GOOD!!! BAN THEM ALL!!!
Then it will be just us legitimate players left, the ones who do not need to cheat.

That is true. However it's not really about punishing those that do wrong. It's about stopping this type of behavior. And if you sit there and do nothing you're basicly saying this is ok. So ubisoft have to make a point by banning people for this just to make sure everyone know this is not allowed behavior. If it was down to me I would make sure they could never ever play any multiplayer game ever again just to make sure I don't accidently team up with any of them in this game or any other game. People that behave like this are not real gamers.

Might be difficult to find a team of 4 for PVE though
