So 8 days left and there are over 1000 Legends on Android! Maybe we got that high before but I don't remember seeing much more than 5\600 and especially not with over a week left!
1,000 seems excessive... I didn't even think 1,000 people still played the Bunker...
Anyway, currently on 691 for iOS (I'm not one of them).
Part of it is surely people like me who start 5 showdowns 2-3 times a day, and don't even bother trying against anyone who isn't Legend rank. I do agree, though - I can't remember seeing maybe more than 650 in any season before this... even 4 or 5 seasons ago, I only remember ~200 getting it.
Its certainly a surprising turn of events, but it seems to be confirmed by Bonxy (his current season data is a little dated, but his numbers are close to the latest 691/1000 numbers above IOS/Android):Originally Posted by ciscodalicious Go to original post

Note the "Players" column is higher for the current season than the one before...even with less "important" rewards to win....
Are more new people lately (did RL widen their release any?), or maybe this season format is just more popular? Its cool for RL, but I sure dont know whats driving it..... it IS a long season though, and I am sure that helps a lot.
Thanks for the link.Originally Posted by xitooner Go to original post
Just updated it.
iOS - 709
Android - 1084
Pretty amazing. I always thought iOS was the more dominant platform. I guess im wrong! :P
Almost 1100 on Android, that's crazy, and I'm not 1 of them, I tend to take my time here...
Well, 30 days, a maximum of 5 showdowns, 3 hour showdown length, you could even do a maximum of 1200 showdowns (5 showdowns x (8 times a day for a set of showdowns (24 hours / 3 hours)) x 30 days) without using golden tickets & without sleep throughout the whole duration of the whole season! (I've saved you from doing the maths!) The majority of people at Legend giving non-Legends a chance to be Legend by giving them an astonishing amount of wins... The amount of chances to get to Legend is incredible, the amount of showdowns you can do during a 30-day period is insane so it's just to make sure that everyone has a few shots of hitting Legend, not sure on the amount of people playing the Bunker but the fact that anybody is Legend just doesn't defy being a Legend at all. It's just so easy to hit Legend now imo.
Could even hit 1500 at this rate... Beyond crazy, really.
Depends on how you look at it, but I have been watching this for a while... overall, there are more "casual players" on Android, and in general they seem to have higher participation numbers in things like the early Story tracks, events, and Bunker seasons (also see number of LB players for the 3 PVP-only tracks). Kinda makes sense, since they have a larger number of devices out there.Pretty amazing. I always thought iOS was the more dominant platform. I guess im wrong! :P
But as soon as you start looking at LB participation on the really tough tracks, or looking at overall top-20 LB times across both platforms....IOS overwhelmingly wins. Even for such simple things like how many people have played the story end-game tracks like Grindhouse, Quagmire, Purifier, Dark Machine, etc. IOS seems to have a larger core group of long-term skilled/competitive players, and they push themselves on competing against each other, IMO.
(just my observation; I know there are some truly awesome Android individual players, for sure!)
Probably because Android is littered with hackers and such. Just my guess. Either that or more newer players that still need the rewards?
i was really fast a Legend too on IOS. 6 free showdowns in 3 hours, in two days i was done to a Legend...
now i help Players Rank 1,2 and drive ONLY with free Tickets vs other Legendswin or lose now no interest...
but i hope, we dont lose the Legend Rank after so many Legends. I m happy to see many great Riders help other Riders
hope now of the three Bunker Tracks with Berserker to improve my timesbut no luck in the moment...

Legends beget legends at a faster and faster rate. Reasoning is simple.
Normal battles between players neither add nor remove stars from the total number of stars in the game, as 1 per gains a star, and 1 loses one. It takes 60 stars per person to get to legend. So those 60 stars from someone else to get to legend.
However, there are a number of ways the total number of stars to increase. 1, have someone below level 15 loses, and they don't drop a level, it adds a star to the total number in play. Also, get on a winning streak gives an extra star to the total stars.
But those are small bickies. The real addition to total stars comes from legends losing and not reducing rank. So more legends creates more and more legends, at an exponential rate.
Also, a shorter time span gives more generations for this all to play out.
