1. Add an ability where players can bank their DZ credits. If they get ganked, they only lose a percentage of the credits on-hand.
As for Rogues, if you go Rogue, the penalty will tap into your account if you die.
This would alleviate the ganking problem because: A. Players won't lose resources.
B. Rogues will stop ganking players without loot. . .as much (there are still a**holes afterall).
2. Sliding scale Dark Zones. Depending on how often you go Rogue, you get locked out of Zones.
DZ01: No Rogues
DZ02: Good players that occasionally go Rogue for logical reasons (loot).
DZ03: Players that often kill for logical reasons (loot).
DZ04: Players that always go Rogue for loot.
DZ05-DZ06: A**holes.
Problem solved. And before people come in with the "git gud" arguments. Please explain the skill involved in 4-player ganking 1 player in the back? Especially when they don't even have any loot.
This is no solution to the real problem.
DZ is an open world area, PvP and PvE is carried out there. I wish the whole of NY was like this in the game.
But first of all, Ubisoft/Massive need to finally conclude which way this game will go. Right now, there's no real direction.
The stats need balancing and as long as everyone plays the legit way, problems will disappear, eventually.
