Decided to give the game one more chance and went into the DZ and found... IT WAS RUNNING SMOOTH AS ANYTHING... Spent a while hunting and running from rogues like a wimp... and then I find some stuff I want to keep.... so... off to the Extraction Zone.

So I get there and It's nice and clear... and I call in the chopper and suddenly it's like I'm trying to move through treacle... AND THEN ENEMIES SPAWN EVERYWHERE.

I had cleaners on one side and rioters on the other and normally it wouldn't be a problem.... but because the game spawned so many in at once it seemed I couldn't run anywhere. The enemies were moving fine but I couldn't move, couldn't aim at them, and the screen was blacking out every few seconds.

Then I went down... and nothing was near me. Two seconds pass and a rusher appears in front of me and swings.

Oh wonderful lag... Damned game servers, I thought...

BUT...

I decided to run a pingtest just to prove that it was the game servers at fault... and got a shock!

The moral of the story is... It's not always Ubisoft that's to blame for the crappy lag. (So sorry Ubi for the names I called you! )

Oh and a few minutes after posting this my network went back to behaving itself... sort of.
