Transportation/mounts - good or bad idea?

I think putting in some motorbikes or some kind of transportation for driving in the non-dz areas would be a welcome change, if done well enough and you can get different vehicles or even customize them. I know if the driving was made fun enough I'd rather drive than fast travel anywhere. It could be fun racing your buddies to waypoints/missions too.

Before anyone says it, yes I know many more important things have priority but I think this would be a fun addition to the game.

What happens to your vehicle when you hit a road block?

You can already Fast Travel to every safe house, mission location, and DZ checkpoint, once you have opened them up.

Not really sure what the purpose of adding drivable vehicles would be.

If you want to keep fast travelling you could, I personally would rather drive and take a little longer than fast travel and stare at loading bar. I understand your comment though, just comes down to preference. When I used to play GTA Online one of my favorite parts was driving to the mission points with my sweet car zipping in and out of traffic, they could have something like that, take out most road blocks, you wouldn't have to change much as everything is spaced out in the streets anyway.

Bicycles, they are everywhere, and would only increase speed a little bit. You could use them like water, or soda, to increase your speed for a short duration to make Rogue Hunting, or Supply drops that spawn insanely far away from eachother that much more in your grasp. Spending a minute and a half to get to a supply drop only to have it explode on you @ .1 seconds away from capturing it sucks.

This isn't Gtz....all teh clutter in the streets totally prevents your idea, not to mention the fact that it flies in teh face of the whole premise of the game...which is that chaos has caused the city to shut down and be run by thugs. Why can't people embrace a new game, why must they insist it morph into some other game they used to love to play...I enjoyed final fantasy 7 tons, that doesn't mean i wan't chocobo racing in the division.

I'm guessing you meant Gta but it is an rpg mmo and a large percentage of those usually have a way to get around the map quicker, besides a load screen. So saying this isn't GTA isn't a valid point. What flies in the premise of the game? The city is shut down... and what? Vehicles are everywhere and we obviously have enough gas for constant helicopter extractions so I don't see how this would clash with game lore. In this style of game it's common for there to be mounts/transportation, and if you understood what I wrote I said in Non DZ areas so not only would you not see anyone doing it in your game unless you invited them, but you also wouldnt have todo it if you didn't want to.

I have thought of them adding like dirtbikes or something. The only thing is Im not sure the map is big enough right now.

Now if the map was as big as the map in the trailer then it would work for sure

LOL ignoring the fact the LMB has transportation

You act like its outside of realm of possibliity that people in NYC couldnt acquire a bicycle or a car etc. This would actually make it more realistic

Adding transport doesnt turn the game into GTA
